Have been lurking for a while so thought I would say Hi.

I came off the pill as me and OH have decided to let nature take it's course. Have had withdrawal bleed this past week and now clear, so just going to see what happens. I don't really want to become hung up about charting and all that, I know they say to wait until you've had a few 'normal' cycles so you can be sure of dates, but I'm just going to take it as it comes - if it happens, it happens! At the end of the day, the scanning facilities are that advanced now, they work out your due date based on measuring the foetal development, and they're usally pretty accurate.

Really excited though - just wish I could get him into bed so we can actually start trying.............

that is pretty much what my OH and I have decided to do also, although it is easier said that done. even though i have only been off the pill a month (expecting AF at the end ofthis month, following the withdrawal bleed after coming off the pill), i am going to be so disappointed if it does arrive.

I've been TTC for 4 years and I still have this attitude :D

Honestly though I'm lazy about it all. I tried ov sticks for a month, got all negs so gave up with that. I've got some pre seed but haven't used it yet.
The only effort I put into it is making love every 2-3 days and then going for it! :rotfl:

I think my laziness is because in the back of my mind I know we are going to get help soon, so if it doesn't happen naturally its no big shakes.

Having said all that I am quite obsessed about getting pg. Every time we do it I wonder if that was the jackpot and when AF arrives I am absolutely gutted.

Just be prepared for the roller coaster ride of your lives ladies!

4 years _pale_ the thought of going through these emotions and obsessing about getting pregnant for 4 months makes me sweat. Still, I believe in fate, it'll happen when it is supposed to happen for all of us.

I was saying to DH last night that I have spent all of my adult life praying for my period to arrive and overnight this has changed to praying that it doesn't arrive!

DH and I are currently having sex every day...nothing to do with babies, just because we are going through a 'can't keep our hands off each other' phase...can too frequent be counter-productive? Or should I just relax and enjoy the loved-up feeling while I can :D

Many of us have been advised not to BD every day while you're fertile, every other day is better. But the rest of the time - go for it! (wish we were all so lucky...)
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

When I first started reading stuff about TTC on t'internet I got it into my head that AF stood for 'Absent Friend' rather than 'Aunty Flo' - still can't get it out of my head :o

Maybe I should have said that I have been pg twice in those 4 years but lost both pg's. Then on top of that I lost my cervix to cancer. So really we haven't been trying for every single day of those 4 years, its 4 years total ;)
