Hi I am on day 10 of my first month and I love it. It looked so confusing to begin with but I have filled out all the labels and put them on the pots to save time.
Oh and I got my first "High" this morning so cant wait until tonight
I wish we had bought this months ago as I was sure (due to too many bl00dy websites) that I was fertile around day 17/18!!
Let me know how you get on with it.
x
I know what you mean about confusing at first but its so easy now Iv'e been doing it a few days. Today was my first day of using the sticks and even they are so easy you can leave the machine doing its thing for 5 mins
Good luck with yours

Thanks for all the congratulations, I can't stop swinging between excited and nervous. I put my favourite jeans on this morning and I think I'll be wearing them for as much as possible for the next while as they'll be a distant memory soon.
I know it must be frustrating when so many newbies come on and get BFPs so quickly. And I think all of us (so far) this month have been newbies. But it will happen for everyone one way or the other. Sorry if I sound partonising.:o
And thanks to everyone for all the support and stories. I've had a brilliant time on here.0 -
Congrats to all the BFP's lately but I agree, no list please. There's a list on the pregnancy thread anyway. Don't mean to be harsh but for all us 'long-term' TTC-ers, as happy as we are to see BFP's, it's disheartening (I probably speak for myself) when people join in as TTC and within a month or two are announcing their good news.
It has been said before on this thread (can't remember by who) but there's a difference between 'trying to conceive', and 'trying -and failing- to conceive'.
Maybe I just need to join a forum for 'long-term' TTC instead of this one now, as I can see it making me bitter lol. And no AF isn't due, I'm not moody, I feel this way all through my cycle at the moment!
But again, congratulations to all BFP's this month, and fingers crossed for all the 'old-girls' that have been on here since the start pretty much, may we get some progress soon!!
Hi Honeypop,
Quite agree re the list, and it's tough sometimes to see people who it appears take all of '2 minutes' to get PG when some of us have waited so long, and had so much heartache along the way......but I too try not hold it against them, and wish everyone well.
We're gonna keep going though - and one day we'll get our precious BFP's and they will stick....and we'll be wonderful parents!
If you want to join a baord for long-term TTCers, are you on i-village? They have TTC+1 for people trying over a year, where many of the participants have been trying for several years, and also Fertility Issues (where you'll find me lurking from time to time!) for those of us facing 'challenges' on our TTC journey. I'm sure you'll be made very welcome!
For the relative 'newbies' to TTC, there are several other suitable boards on i-village, and lots of people are willing to share knowledge and answer questions.
That said, I do like it here, and I feel that the knowledge I've gained on my journey may help some others from time to time, which at least makes me feel useful and that some good has come out of all this!
Have a lovely weekend - and don't totally leave us please!

Good luck with it all.
Hi,
Thanks for ur good idea.I will follow it;)0 -
My hubby does his at the hospital in the loos
There isn't anywhere for blokes to do their samples and we want it to be as fresh as possible. (our local hospital is at least 20 mins away too)
I have just started using a Clearblue fertility monitor as I was lucky enough to get one free on a clinical trial. Can't tell you much at the moment though as I am only on day 5 of my first month of using it. According to the instructions tomorrow will be first day I have to poas....or in my case dip the stick.
I'll let you know my thoughts on it in a month or 2.
They have quoted in the letter that there is no facility to take the semen in hospital.so we have to take it from home ,and like yours our hospital is also 20 minutes drive.
I want to try clearblue digital monitor but don't want to waste the money until i find out the test reports are normal .
Thanks for ur reply.I will update my progress next week.0 -

Our hospital told us the same, thats why hubby does it in the loos. So long as he is quiet no-one knows hes there
You have to be so careful keeping it at the right temp because if it cools down even slightly it can give back a false result (Hubbys first test result wasn't good because the lab themselves let it cool down) So now he does it on the hospital and tells them its urgent when he hands it over :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. Just to let you know I recieved a 6.5% discount code from access diagnostics who sell the cheap pregnancy tests/ovulation kits etc... which is valid till end of Sept - I have posted the code on the discount codes board but I know a lot of you buy from there so thought I'd let you know x
Hope this helps somebody x0 -
Hi everyone,
Well looks like AF is on the way...so I'm feeling a bit p****d off at the moment! At least it means that I'll be able to have my wisdom teeth extracted without worrying about taking painkillers etc. (Hmmm..there's definitely something wrong when I'm consoling myself with a trip to the dentist and a week of eating through a straw)
At the moment all I can see is months and months of hopes that are raised and then dashed again...but I think that it's probably the PMT talking, and the fact that the start of AF brings back memories of my m/c..the endless rushing to the loo to see if there was (possible TMI alert) more pink streaking and agonising over whether this was something I needed to phone my doctor about..
Sorry, rant over!:jBaby boy, Hugh, born on the 8th June 2009, weighing 2.5kg:j0 -
Please, can someone tell me off for even thinking of doing a test today???? I am only on CD 18 and I have been telling myself all along this month that I will take it easy, and have done so far, but now got an uncontrollable urge to do a test. It can only show one thing - negative!!!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
