So I couldn't help myself and tested this morning, and you were all right; BFP.:j

My stupid DH has deflated me a bit, his reaction was "Jesus wept! I thought it would take at least a month or two!" I got my own back a little later though, as when he looked at the test again a few minutes later he asked what the 1-2 underneath pregnant meant. It's actually weeks since conception but I told him it was an indication that we were having twins.:D

Some ladies here would not like to keep the list - and I completely understand them. SO, I am not going to continue with it.

Congrats to all the BFP's lately but I agree, no list please. There's a list on the pregnancy thread anyway. Don't mean to be harsh but for all us 'long-term' TTC-ers, as happy as we are to see BFP's, it's disheartening (I probably speak for myself) when people join in as TTC and within a month or two are announcing their good news.

It has been said before on this thread (can't remember by who) but there's a difference between 'trying to conceive', and 'trying -and failing- to conceive'.
Maybe I just need to join a forum for 'long-term' TTC instead of this one now, as I can see it making me bitter lol. And no AF isn't due, I'm not moody, I feel this way all through my cycle at the moment!

But again, congratulations to all BFP's this month, and fingers crossed for all the 'old-girls' that have been on here since the start pretty much, may we get some progress soon!! (Not saying 'dust and glue' as it makes me cringe for some reason lol)

I have just started using a Clearblue fertility monitor as I was lucky enough to get one free on a clinical trial. Can't tell you much at the moment though as I am only on day 5 of my first month of using it. According to the instructions tomorrow will be first day I have to poas....or in my case dip the stick.
I'll let you know my thoughts on it in a month or 2.

Hi I am on day 10 of my first month and I love it. It looked so confusing to begin with but I have filled out all the labels and put them on the pots to save time.

Oh and I got my first "High" this morning so cant wait until tonight ;)

I wish we had bought this months ago as I was sure (due to too many bl00dy websites) that I was fertile around day 17/18!!

Let me know how you get on with it.

  • Congrats GracieP , have fun on the other thread!
Now the rest of us just have to try and stay positive, i know i have not been trying for long but do feel for all who have been trying a long time. Keep smiling (or trying to) a BIG HUG to all who need it!

I am sitting here a little uncomfortable as AF has really hit a vengeance! Oh well.

I will send baby dust to all and send out prayers and hugs to all who need them too. :)
