Well it appears the Clomid worked in making me ovulate this time, temp chart shows the right things, but took a dip over the last 3 days and had spotting yesterday with cramps last few days fo AF must be on her way booooooo! We BD'd every other day without fail too.
On the upside, my hen weekend starts tonight and I can now have a few glasses of wine without wondering if I should be avoiding it or not.
It's annoying to get AF this weekend as we have a really active weekend planned (apparently, it's all a surprise for me) and it's normally so heavy and painful, but hey ho what can you do about her timing? Usually I get spotting every other day for a few days befor she comes proper though so maybe it won't be too bad.
But for this weekend, I can enjoy a few drinks with friends without worrying and relax. For the past 14 months while TTC, I usually make excuses not to drink so much when I go out, or not drink at all, but as AF has appeared I know it's ok to do so this time!
One more cycle of Clomid to try, then its our wedding and honeymoon so will see what happens after that...0 -

Just to say that I have lurked around for a good few months now, picking up tips and advice from all of you ladies, had a positive test on Bank Hol Monday so now am due 20 May 2009!
4 months of trying after 10 years of being on the pill, which I know isn't much consolation to some of you, but to others - things can work out just fine (we were expecting it to take much longer, really doesn't fit in with work now grrr!). I also had an op to remove fibroids last year, including a cyst on one ovary which they found whilst they were rummaging around (the one which grows hair and teeth from cells, I forget what they're called), and was thinking that it would take much longer to get over this as well.
Husband very proud, you would have thought he'd done it all by himself :rotfl:
Anyway, baby dust to all trying, will keep on dipping in on here to keep up with everyone!

I don't think it's irrational. When you think about it our bodies default mode is to be pregnant. Every month our bodies prepare for pregnancy and then when we don't get pregnant have a (painful) clear out in order to get pregnant again. So when we decide to get pregnant and then can't it's like a cruel joke.0 -

Congratulations throwa!
I've got a bit of spotting this morning...have to say I had a little cry when I saw it. Still having waves of nausea (was particularly bad last night) so was convinced this was the month, even after the BFN yesterday...now of course i'm not to sure.
it somehow doesn't seem very fair when we want it so badly...i know we've not been trying that long - just full of wo0 -
Congrats Throwa!
I took the plunge this morning and bought some tests off Ebay... at least I'll know if I'm PG or if I'm still waiting for the witch :rolleyes:0 -
Any child I am lucky enough to conceive would be a blessing. I already have a beautiful girl, who is my lil angel.:A
... any tips on how to conceive a boy?
Read all the old wives tales available on the net, any body on here swear they got pregnant and had a certain sex by doing certain things?99.9% of my posts include sarcasm!Touch my bum :money:Tesco - £1000 , Carpet - £20, Barclaycard - £50, HSBC - £50 + Car - £1700SAVED =£0Debts - £28500 -
I've got one of each and *think* I know when they were conceived. The boy was conceived on the day I noticed mucus, the girl a few days before. Of course it might just be co-incidence. I'd go into it for a bit of fun, but would ask you don't get your heart set on wanting one or the other (which to be fair doesn't sound like you would)-just in case.
Good Luck
