For those of you wondering....I haven't done a test yet though I am tempted :D The spotting/dirty stuff has stopped but I am still getting mild aches.

I checked my diary to see if I really am late or not and it depends on what cycle you take notice of.....
(I have only really been taking more notice for the last 3 cycles and the length varies greatly)

    In April CD1 was 6th.
    In May CD1 was 6th.
    In June CD1 wasn't until 12th.
    In July CD1 was 10th.

    April-May cycle was 31 days.
    May-June was 38 days.
    June-July was 27 days.
I am now on day 28.

So if I use my last cycle I am 1 day late or if I use the one before I am not due for another 10 days!

I really am confused.....though after all this time you would think I would know what I am doing :D

I know really I should wait for another 10 days incase I am late again because its not unusual for me to spot then stop then AF arrive.
I know that if I do a test and its BFN I'll be disappointed, so if I wait I hold onto the hope a little while longer.

I don't usually let myself get like this but some months I just can't help it :o

    congratulations xredwebx!!

I too took a pregancy test this morning on day 30 of a 31 day cycle and got a faint positive. However as I only used a cheap test I have ordered 5 ultra sensitive ones - cant wait til they get here. wish me luck x x x

    Congratulations! :j

I only ever use cheap tests (sometimes use an expensive one just to double check) and my doc said a pos is a pos, however faint.

don`t ever give up hope!!! oh and i have been trying for 5 long years (im 35) we were both very disheartened as we had tried without fail every single month for 5 years and we had started saving for ivf as i already have a 16 year old son and i knew i`d never get free treatment as im prob too old, too overweight and already have a child (not by my oh).
anyway to cut a long story short, this month i suddenly realised i was over a week late (had long since stopped bothering to really track dates etc) i did a cheapy test and omg it came up positive  i found it hard to believe that this cheapy test was correct so we did a midnight dash to asda to buy a clearblue test to doublecheck and the preggers + showed up immediately  omg im 6 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl: wooohoooooo oh and i are over the moon and oh has found it impossible not to blab to the world  even though i would of liked to get to the 3 month "safe" stage before telling everyone.
so for those of you taking forever ttc don`t give up hope...theres always a chance, keep on trying each month if it can happen to us after 5 years theres still hope for you guys to!!

I was in so much pain and have never had a period so heavy, still quite heavy right up until yesterday and now today.......its gone! Weird!

It's horrible isn't it?! Mine have been like that since coming off the pill (13 months ago), the period is excrutiatingly painful and SO SO heavy, I'm talking having to change a 'super' tampon every 2 hours or so, and it stays this heavy for about 4 days until one day it's just gone...nothing! No getting a lighter flow or anything it goes from this heavy one day to nothing the next!! I can't wait to get pregnant just to save the money I have to spend on so many tampons lol.

When i eventually get my period i usually have to change every 15-30 minutes and i get alot of clotting which is difficult to pass and deal with sometimes due to the size.

I am always a wreck after a period as i cant sleep other wise id flood the bed (happened once and vowed it never again). Not nice for OH to have woken up me, the bed, mattrass duvet and his pj's covered in blood :(

Hi everybody, so many BFP's and I've only been gone since Sunday. Thanks for all the welcomes. I'm sorry I didn't reply but as soon as I posted my computer died. I've only just gone the new one sorted. Never mind.

Just a quick question about first AF after coming off the pill. I thought AF arrived on Saturday but had finished by Sunday afternoon. Thing is, since it went I've been feeling very bloated and in alot of discomfort like nausea and sharp pains. Would this be classed as a withdrawal bleed or an AF as it's been about 28 days since I came off the pill. Before I came off the pill I didn't have an AF that month which is not normal. Just after some advise please.

I'm not sure about this, but I'm pretty sure that you can count your withdrawal bleed as your first AF, because anything from there technically is your cycle (even though you'll probably have several weird ones before your body settles.

My AF arrived today. A little earlier than expected (at least it saves me the excruciating waiting). I think I've got one cycle for when I'm relaxed and on holidays (teacher - yeay!) and another cycle for when I'm in school. Sucks to be unpredictable.
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o
