Anyway, what I think I'm getting at is that swabs and bloods are fine (great news), but does that indicate that my tubes and other bits are working properly too? Or should I be pushing to have things like that checked as well?
How long have you been trying? (sorry, can't keep up with everyones time TTC)To be honest I think they only do more detailed tests like tube xrays etc when you have been trying quite awhile.

Cheers Shelly. This will be our 20th month, although we only went to the docs 2 months ago. I kind of thought I'd give it another 2-3 months and if nothing then I'll go back. I'm also horribly aware that age 35 is looming next year, and can't help the doom and gloom of that age being 'the beginning of the end' as far as most of the literature would have us believe
. I know it's not as long as some, and I'm trying to get used to the idea that I could be in for the long haul - it'd just be useful to have some idea about what might happen next (if anything).

I just told DH to expect a glass of cold water with his vits tomorrow morning
He said 'I don't need a whole glass to swallow a few tablets'. When I explained he had to soak his testicles in it the colour drained from his face

He's very good generally, but I really don't think I could subject him to that!!!!0 -
Morning all,
Super excited today, not even my rubbish job can keep me down!
On CD23 but couldn't resist doing a test last night as i've never had boob pain like i've got and have been nausious (sp?) for about a week...got a very very faint positive line! I thought it was my eyes and got hubby to take a look and he said yep theres something there! Trying not to get my hopes up just in case its wrong, and we're going to wait until sunday, which is when AF is due, to test again.
Fingers crossed for me and baby dust/glue for everyone else!Sealed Pot:member 254

Its Weight Watchers (WW) day today so im mega hopefully of a decent loss. 2lb would be very nice i must say although any loss is a good loss isnt it!
Started taking multi vitamins again today just to boost my immune system and what not as i suffer with that. I really want to be at my peak when i go back to the consultants on the 18th.
If he tells me to go away and lose weight ill have abit argue but i want to show them im doing everything i possibly can to try to help myself... which in my head might make them more likely to give me some help with PCOS and take me seriously. What im doing will also help with TTC no doubt too!
So far :
No alcohol (dont drink anyways)
Cut down as far as possible on any fatty foods or drinks (no frappucinos for me!)
1 cup of coffee a day
1 sml glass of fizzy pop a day (Tea time treat)
3l water a day
gym 3-4 times a week
walk for 45-1hr a day in lunch time
WW diet & low GI mixed in too
Multi vitamins with 100% of RDA
about to start reflexology and discuss auricular accupuncture
tried some homeopathic treatments
I work 50hrs a week so im finding it hard to find the time to fit anything else in!0 -
OOh exciting xredwebx! I hope you get the result you want on Sunday0

If the pregnancy club has been stickied, isnt it about time this thread and the parent club was too? Theres loads of MSE tips in here like access diagnostic etc. Surely it has to be worth it.0
