Me and OH have been TTC since I had a miscarriage mid June. The thing is, I didn't know I was pregnant then, and had a stomach upset a few weeks before where I threw up a few times, I just at that time put it down to something I had eaten but then looking back I wonder if it was an early symptom or not.

Anyways, this morning I woke up, felt fine, got out of bed, got washed, changed etc, then suddenly had to run to the loo and throw my guts up (sorry TMI, hope no one is eating lunch).

That was about an hour ago, and I feel fine now. I've done a cheapy ebay test and it was negative, does anyone think this sounds like an early symptom or just coincidence after what happened to me last time??? I've held off from posting because I know it's more thank likely that I'm just being paranoid, especially given the BFN, but you never know I suppose do you!

ETA Shelley I agree with MFD - do a HPT and please let us know how you get on!!

If you AF is not due yet, it could take a while for the system to build up the hormone. Just look back through Supergirl's posts and you will see what she went through - home tests say she is pg, but the doc's no!!! She got it her way in the end!!!

Good luck Supergirl - I hope all is going well! Oh, I want to the other side of the fence as well!!!!!!

    Me too!

Well I started this cycle one week ago determined to drive thoughts of ttc from my mind. So far I've put DH on folic acid, started myself on Pregnacare conception vitamins, ordered Preseed, posted on here and purchased a Durex Play Ultra in an attempt to spice things up and get away from 'baby making'.

Methinks I'm not doing very well at not thinking about it :o

Shelly - any news since last night?

My hubby takes a multi vit every day too which already contains his 100% RDA of folic acid. Reading on here zinc can help too so I'm going to do some research and maybe get him on that too.

Just walked into the bathroom and OH is standing with his testicles in a jug of cold water !!!!!!! (its supposed to help sperm production)

Ooh it Makes my eyes water just thinking about it

If that, giving up drinking, eating pumpkin seeds (yuk) and remembering to take his various vitamins and zinc doesn't work I don't know what will !!!!!!!!

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Awww bless - he sounds like an absolute darling, if he's prepared to go to those kind of lengths to help!

I wonder if my OH would do it - I feel a challenge coming on...

Im having an upbeat day today after being really depressed for a few weeks.

    Still getting crippling cramps but....

1st reflexology session booked in to help alleviate PCOS symptoms
Ive ordered a PCOS 'bible' and the TCOYF book
I go to the gym 4 times a week
    I dont drink or smoke
Im losing weight at a healthy rate (7lb in 3 weeks so far to date)
My appointment with my gynae consultant is on the 18th
OH finally understands what im going through
Found the verity forums making me realise im not alone

I also, will not be fobbed off to go away and lose weight and not be treated until then, i dont want to be given steriods for pcos and i will not be spoken down too. I am fat (and dieting hard id like to add) and i f***ing well deserve treatment (of some kind) just as much as every chronic smoker, smack head, alcoholic or anorexic does.

Positive Mental Attitude today... or atleast this afternoon anyways!
  • ancasta - Go Girl! You tell 'em!!!!! PCOS is a s*d - it took them years to diagnose me, but when they did then the reasons for loads of the probs I had made sense. Keep up the PMA!

Thanks everyone for your positive messages - made me cry! (in a good way this time!!!).

ClaireLR, I have a 'normal' 2WW after the implantation, although if it is anything like last time after the IVF I actually tested after 12 days as I couldn't wait any longer! It'll be the bank hol. w/e and as we're away camping with the stepkids from the Friday evening I think I'd better test on the Friday morning instead of the Sat (otherwise have images of me sitting in campsite loo waiting for test to take, then either rushing out in tears or screaming my head off with joy - the other campers will think I'm crazy whichever way :rotfl: , and I don't know what I'd say to SK's!).

We've got SK's this w/e too, so gonna have to think up an excuse to pop out without them on Sat morning, and for me lazing around all w/e too, as I'm gonna take things very easy for a few days this time. They tell you that you can just act normally, but then they don't know what causes ectopics either, so just to be on the safe side it'll be R&R as much as poss for me this time.

Next w/e will be the killer though - fingers crossed we'll be halfway through the 2WW, and it's when our littlun(s?):A would have been due if all had gone well, so I'm expecting a very emotionally charged time... At least work is busy so I can get my mind off it a bit during the week.
