Well, I really need to get back into the swing of things with the excercise... I need to sort out a routine properly.
As for the medication... I feel great!! I'm only taking metformin and vitamin B regularly now :D

blood tests show she is ovulating which is great but like you we've no idea what day it might be!

I don't mean to sound rude and if you already know this then ignore me but the blood test for ovulation only proves a woman has or hasn't ovulated that particular month. It doesn't check for past or future ovulation.

I just wanted to point that out as not everyone is aware :o

    Thanks Shelly, good point!

The blood test result was a relief though for us as that cycle had been just over 100 days and we'd started to think that maybe DW wasn't ovulating.

We just got our test results back, DW's scan shows she has PCOS which explains the very random cycle but blood tests show she is ovulating which is great but like you we've no idea what day it might be! Have bought a bumper lot of OV sticks for her to use which should hopefully help and we'll just have to keep going with the 2-3 day activity

You are probably aware of this but PCOS can cause false surges of LH, which may not mean ovulation. As the kits only test for LH levels it may mislead you into thinking ovulation has occured for that cycle. Charting BBT would tell you retrospectivly if it had ( . . therefore saving you some money on OV sticks)

    more moneysaving . . . .

As my copy is due back to library soon, I have been shopping around and the best price I could find for the 2006 edition (paperback) was £12.99 with free delivery on BookRabbit:

    http://www.bookrabbit.com/catalogue/detail/bookid/2632165/Taking-Charge-of-Your-Fertility-The-Definitive-Guide-to-Natural-Birth-Control

Amazon have the older 2003 edition (hardback) for £11.69 + delivery.

( I do know how you feel, but the way I look at it it there are worse conditions to have. I also remind myself that thanks to the advances in modern technology those of us TTC with PCOS are much more likely to conceive than a generation ago. Goes away to hide in case she gets flamed...it's just sometimes it's very easy to get very down when every one you meet seems to have a child)

I know. I'm not down yet don't worry. Only been trying since January and as I was on the pill for 8 years I wasn't expecting to conceive by now. It's just annoying not being able to predict AF's visit etc. Thanks though.
