Oh, on a completely different theme, I once saw a t shirt with a slogan on it which I loved!

It said: 69% of all statistics are made up.

    I laughed out loud!
  • SJ - having never been pg I wouldn't have a clue but I do believe that a lot of the first symptoms are VERY similar to AF pains - I would imaging your womb would ache if it is busy dividing cells (or whatever it is busy doing :rotfl: )

ps - did it really say '69' % or is all the BD going to your head ;)

    Sarah

Unfortunately everyone has different pg symptoms. With both of mine I thought I just had flu. About 3 days of achey body, raised temp etc...then after that went, my boobs suddenly grew to twice there original size..but this was at about 7-8wks pg...

Well in that case I will keep my fingers firmly crossed! I have to say that I've had these aches for 2 days now and I have only ever had them for 1 day before an AF before.

And yes - it did really say 69% !!!

So I googled and have found out that period-type cramps are a fairly common symptom of early pregnancy.

So I am going to POAS tomorrow morning and keep my fingers crossed til then. Still no other symptoms so trying not to get too excited.

    I'll let you know anyway!

Personally I wouldn't see my doctor if I missed an AF. I probably would if I missed 2 in a row, but not one.

Also I get my tests from my local Savers, they are only £1 each so its not too bad if you use a few when late. Or accessdiagnostics are really cheap, I have got some for when my savers ones run out. The better value prices start at (IIRC) 10 tests for £3. They are very quick to delivers and p+p is free!
