Spends of £6.44 take me to £37.22.
I'll need a few bits and bobs to take away with me but after this week, I'll be away for a bit and not spending on groceries.
£83 for the rest of the month feels a bit ambitious but I thought my budget was tight at the start of last month so hopefully being sensible when I get back will keep me on targetAugust 2016 GC £249.70/£150
July 2016 GC £114.03/ £120
June 2016 GC £170.09/ £1750 -
NSD yesterday and I'm hoping for another today
Realised that the best thing for me to do is to not take my purse to work. I have an emergency fiver in the car, but it's hidden away so I can't see it when I'm thinking about what to make for tea later. Fingers crossed that we'll keep on reducing out budget!

If I can join in please.
I'm newly living on my own as my tenant left a month ago and I probably spend way too much.
I'm going to aim for £200 a month to start with - probably going to get a nasty shock as the month goes on!
I'll start from 1st July as I know what I have spent since then as I always keep my receipts for a while anyway in case any shop charges my card twice!
5 days in and i've spent....£25.40 so ahead of plan but I did have a few things stocked up, so maybe not a true reflection of a usual month.

Right, I am going to join in, my budget for groceries and general everyday odds and sods type spending for July is £250. (Changing colours in here doesn't seem to be easy - hope that's come out alright!)
I've already spent £74 in July and it would make a massive difference to my life to be able to live within a budget.0 -
Another £11 spend tonight on cat food for the week and 8 pints of (human) milk. It's shopping day tomorrow but we'd run out so needs must. The cat already thought it was his birthday when I cracked open a tin of tuna earlier lol! Signature updated. Can't believe I've spent so much already and it's only one week in food shop wise. The next three weeks are definitely going to have to be more frugal. On the plus side the lack of takeaways continues so I'm definitely saving there on average £20 a week.Grocery challenge June 2016

However a few spends over the past week both at Mr M - £9.19 & £3.48.
To treat DH after is op and trying to get better we had a splashy weekend foodwise, which included a really nice bar + food in central London. It was delish. This has come out from the entertainment fund....
Hope all are well
