  • Well.. afraid to say we've spent another £70.69  needed some baby wipes, nappies and dog food plus some veg so some was unavoidable but also splurged on a takeaway and a few treats. Still doing better than in May tho, so that's a plus! :) Total now £252.83

t14cy t - we seriously need tips on how to get as many NSDs as you. We can always find something to go to the shop for, especially while we are out and about.

Called to Aldi yesterday as I was running low on eggs, found a few useful items reduced, remembered I needed lamb burgers, so £21-53 over to finish my month .That did include a sack of dog food I am giving a try.
Do I need it or just want it.

Hello everyone, well we were doing brilliantly until this last week when we went back to my parents, and we've done a few "small" shops and had to get some wine etc. We're now at £305.70, so over budget....shame as I think if we'd stayed home we would have been more around the £260 mark. Lesson to learn I guess that going away and being fed by someone else doesn't necessarily mean you spend any less, but probably more than usual!

Think someone suggested doing the July challenge as an online shopping challenge, and I think we may just do that - but I am going to aim to get to £250. Freezers got plenty in it, so really it shouldn't be too tricky.

Hope you are all doing well xx

Up to £267.44 because my period went shopping for chocolate, cake and milkshakes last night....My other half decided to put extra chocolate in the basket for fear of his life too and the only nearby shop was ridiculously expensive.

Still under budget though with today and tomorrow to go. Will stock up on emergency chocolate for July to stay under the new budget!

hi smiley87, theres no hard and fast way to get the nsds rolling in.., just will power!! i love a bargain, especially the ys kind! i try and whittle all shopping to twice a week, make a list too!! although it goes abit to pot with the ys goodies! ive 3 large dogs, 16 chickens and 2 ducks, and dh, also adult male 5 days a week for brekkie and lunch! so nothing ever goes to waste here!! all pets food is bought in bulk once a month. good luck!!xx
  • Hi everyone. Have been away for a week, with all my meals included. Spent £8.44 yesterday, bringing my total to £75.83, but I did have a spend to add b4 I went, can't for the life of me think what though, so I may have gone over slightly - but I think IF I did, its only by a couple of £s. Considering i've dumped most of my freezer food and am restocking, Im really pleased with that. See you on the July forum.
