Last day was yesterday - Spent £7.10.

Total for June to 24/6/16 is £83.12.

V happy, as have worked out that definitely don't need to spend a lot on food, if I am careful. Now just need to get DH on board and start meal plans - he doesn't like planning for meals at all!!

SIL will need to try harder.

Last shop if the month done for £19.54 which takes me just over for June. I bit disappointing but I was very close so I'm determined to make it in under budget for July!

Out of cat milk as well as milk for us so popped to Sainsburys. 2x 4pints & 6 cat milk came to £5 but I had £2.50 worth of nectar points so that brought my spends down to £2.50. Signature updated. I'm over slightly but given that this month I've had nearly £415 refund on overpayment on my car and service plan as well as selling a fair few bits on local selling sites and eBay I think I can accept the extra spends. I've only resorted to one takeaway all month too which is amazing. Hope to do better next month though.:j

$4.00 for ice. It's so hot here the ice maker in the fridge can't keep up. We always buy extra during the summer.
    $15.50 for pizza, cola, cookies.
Updated signature. I'm shocked that I'm under budget. This will be the first month that I make it.
    Three times a charm! :D
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

  • Ramblehan He doesn't complain that its dry. We cheat a bit using Aldi's flavoured sachets (rather than plain cous cous, which would be much cheaper!), and we add a bit of oil to fry the pancetta off, because although its fatty, it lets out more fat than if you don't add the oil then you can just absorb off the excess so its not greasy.

Spends of £21.36 but I have forgotten apples and bananas :( Will obviously be less than £15 but I need to avoid the temptation of filling up the basket...only 4 days to go until the end of June.

    Hi all,

Apologies for not keeping everyone up to date on our spends over June. It's been quite chaotic on this side but, thankfully, we've still managed to remain mindful of our spending.

OH and I collected all of our receipts for the month and have ended the month a little over the £300 budget with a spend of £356.82.

Whilst this exceeds what we were hoping to spend, it is still less than what we have spent over the last few months and we're slowly getting back into good, money saving routines.

Hope everyone's had a productive June!

Time to turn our attentions towards July!

At £244.71 now. Did a bit of stocking up with some toiletries that were on offer. Hoping to get at least 2 NSDs with the four days left of this budget.
