My month will run from 29 April to 26 May.
Good Luck to all, and thank you to those who run the thread. Off now to read all the thread and tips to gain motivation and inspiration.

I'm going to be aiming for a tight £100 - with the bulk of that going on fruit and veg.
I really shouldn't need any meat at all - and I've got stacks of potato/rice/pasta.
My month starts on payday, so a week to go.
It does include a three day business trip (and I'm thinking about staying away for the weekend) but that will be (mostly) reimbursed by work so I don't intend to count it towards my budget. That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

Well I've had my 1st spend of this months budget £29.50 for cat food & litter, we have 2 cats and this should last them the month. I also needed eggs & milk with a few fresh bits too.
We are going on holiday next week so not buying much this week, I'm going to buy our bits for holiday out of my shopping money as we are in a caravan so it's cheaper to take our own food and snacks for the kids.Living the simple life0 -
Morning all - Can you please put me down for £160 starting from today - same as last month. -which we scraped through by the skin of our teeth.
This amount will be for groceries & toiletries etc but not wine as we have a separate wine fund.
Thanks

Hi all
After a long hiatus, I'd like to join back in, with a very tentative budget of £300 to cover all groceries, toiletries and make up, cleaning products, wine and (gasp) cigs, as well as pet stuff. Sounds like a lot, but I can't even afford that, so ahem, here goes...
