I know I'm taking this off topic - and really this thread shouldn't be where it is at all, but has anyone used Bennetts insurance with quidco, I've just used it and it is tracking as 0 spend 0 reward, now I don't want to miss the deadline for a query - but I don't want to waste quidco time if this is the way the transactions track - I know that sometimes they do this with other vendors but quidco usually warn you about it. In this case quidco simply say no information on vendor.

  • I've checked my nectar card points, as my AA cashback was declined too. I got 62 points from Nectar for signing up with the AA in January (not quite the same as £20 cash back and I didn't use a Nectar points code). Those points are basically for the spend, and not a promotion or offer. I didn't use a link other than quidco. All I did was enter my Nectar card number when I signed up with the AA, as it said to do so if I had one. Nothing I can do, as it seems to be a loop hole used by the AA to get out of paying.

  • Mines declined aswell, followed everything to the letter since applyng in January and still declined even following an enquiry thru Quidco. I am well p****d off and feel as though AA have taken advantage. This is the last time I go with AA. Notice there seems to be a trend forming with certain Quidco affiliates, Paddy Power looks to be heading same way. We need to publicise bad paying companies who are taking advantage, bad publicity will cost them more than the measly few pounds they are offering as an incentive.
  • Horlock, my husband used Bennetts on quidco. It tracked the purchase 3 times as amount £0 earnings £20. No idea why it tracked three times but it sorted itself out, 2 entries were declined and just the one paid.

I also entered my nectar number I just wondered if anyone entered one of the many bonus codes for £15 worth of points or got the £20 M&S voucher which could result in the transaction deing declined? Don't want to sound like I'm gloting about mine being validated just trying to see if I can help find out why its happened but it seems AA are taking the p**s

I didn't enter a bonus code or anything from Nectar other than my nectar card number. All I got was the 62 points for the £31 spend.

Don't hold your breath waiting for AA to respond. I've got a "declined" query outstanding with them from last November!
"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.
  • Mine are still showing as validated and due to pay this September.

I have also 58 points showing on my Nectar statement.

Don't know why everyone else has had a problem however I remember I was really quick in ordering the insurance when I saw the post prior to the e-mail coming out for the masses. Maybe they have canceled policies made after the time the money saving e-mail came out?
