***lets Stop These Ebay Scams***

I reported it also Richie, definitely the same person isn't it, postage is also the same as well £6.00 on each for sellers standard rate. I do think we are onto a no win situation though. I like you do get frustrated, but although it's no excuse for what these scammers are doing, ebay is a buyer beware environment. After being scammed with the phone we are now even more wary of what and who we buy from on ebay. I agree that ebay should be doing something about it, but head and brick wall springs to mind. I do think contacting watchdog is a good idea. I know they have raised issues with them on there before. Would be interesting to see if you get a response from them!0

Maybe ill try watchdog Blaise, they may be a little more positive about all this, instead of people who seem, from what im getting, to be questioning me. Good luck and i hope ebay respond but dont hold your breathe Blaise !0

Just like to add that the other two voucher "buyers" are 1. a guy with zero feedback himself so dont be surprised to see a fantastic "swapped" feedback deal done there and the other buyer of the m and s vouchers? Well he has 12 feedback, guess what....all for buying 1 penny items so dont be surprised to see great feedback there either, but suffice to say, i will keep a watch on all 3 ebay members and the "surprise" (1penny buyer times 12 into £500 spender!! Yeah, alright!!) buyers!!0

p.p.s
Notice all 1p buys have been done inside 4 days (sept 3rd to 7th) How daft do they think we are? Its hilarious !!
Watch out for "Brilliant deal on the m and s vouchers, top ebayer" etc etc etc etc etc !!!!0 -

.....obviously didn't mean what you said Richie66mel...............:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
The most amusing thing about the middle auction is that the seller is offering 8 x £25 Argos vouchers...while their pic shows a £10 Argos voucher.
You'd think anyone with half a brain would see through these scams.......if i had known then what i know now0 -

What about all the sellers who got kicked off for having negs and neutrals from deadbeat buyers?
Ebay didn't care about their innocence.0 -
Ebay are the biggest 'fence' in the UK and a scammers paradise, aided in part by paypals system.
Bad publicity won't hurt them, due to there market share.
I stopped selling on there last year, and only buy expensive items when I can pick them up, and cheap items when I can't buy them cheaper at the local market.
The concept is good, however, the concept never took into consideration human nature.0 -
Well, even i was wrong.........the 3rd of the vouchers listed has now given the seller a neg.
So two of the three listed have been scams...so far.......as meatloaf once said, 2 outta 3 aint bad.
As i write, I AM STILL WAITIN FOR EBAY TO RESPOND TO ME EVEN THOUGH THEY CAN CLEARLY SEE FROM THE DATES OF THE POSTS I MADE ON HERE THAT AT LEAST 66% ARE SCAMMERS !
I advised them of this, as did Blaise (did they get back to you mate?) and once again, nothing is done. HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS?
I was prepared to have egg on my face by posting to them and on here. I havent got any egg on my face tho and as much as it gives me pleasure to be right.......WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE GETTING SCAMMED? WHERES their pleasure?
I cannot believe in this day and age that this is allowed.....and in my opinion....actively encouraged by a company worth BILLIONS !!
I despair, i really do. I could name another 5 of these listings every day. That means that anywhere up to 30 people a week (maybe more?) are getting shafted and yet i and others are still awaiting ANY reply the great god ebay.
When someone said to me "Why should they care? They get paid by the scammers for the listing?" I ignored the comment at first and thought "Nah, they wouldnt be that greedy, would they?"
From what i can see and with my first post being dated and documented on here and sent to ebay, it seems that the said comment might not be as far away from the truth after all.
Yes, im ranting but at least now i can do so knowing three things:
1. I was right in at least two of the cases.
2. Ebay dont/didnt care about these poor people whatsoever. or my nagging emails.
3. This will happen again and again and again.
