PKK - welcome back. Just lots of lean meats, fruit and veg and reduce the processed, sugary stuff. The basics really. I've been doing slimming world for around 3 months now, I didn't like it in the past as it was lots of muller lights and miugshots, but they've had a bit of an overhaul and the basic premise it lots of veg, fruit, dairy and lean meats. Very easy to follow and I've lost a stone and a half.
Sorry to hear that Skimper.
No news here. Thought I ovulated a little while ago but doesn't appear so.0 -
So I've just found out that after getting a positive on an opk, you ovulate 12-48 hours after. I always thought it was more 12-24, learn something new everyday.
Fertile week starts tomorrow so it's BDing every other day until I say so 😂.0 -
I'm another slimming world fan and would recommend it. Unless anything has changed recently I believe it's the only diet plan that is safe during pregnancy and approved by the college of midwives. I followed it with my midwives support during first pregnancy and dropped all the weight gain very quickly after.0

Had our doctors appointment this afternoon, we're being referred to the fertility clinic for more tests, but OH has to do his second SA before they will start anymore testing on me. Getting OH to ring up and sort anything out is a nightmare! And last time it was weeks before he could get an appointment.0
-
That sounds both encouraging that they're going to refer you and also frustrating that it might be difficult to get an appointment. Can you have a frank discussion with OH to at least get the appointment made? I don't know how long it takes from referral to treatment but I can't imagine it being a short time so you don't really want to be held up. Good luck!0

He forgot to take the letter to work so I sent him a picture :') Hes actually been pro active and made the appointment and managed to get in next Thursday! So not as long a wait as last time luckily.
hopefully I can get my Hycosy booked in quickly, I've heard of a lot of people falling pregnant in the first few cycles after it as it can increase fertility by 30% in the 3 months after it.0 -
My (now ex) hubby was on the more reluctant side when it came to his sample, he felt awkward about doing it in the first place but also scared the results would point to him having an issue, something his ego would never have accepted. It was unlikely to be him, I had endometriosis and had already undergone several procedures for it but that didn't stop him worrying and putting it off.
He kept putting it off, wanting me to have all the tests and procedures first and of course to keep trying ourselves enthusiastically. He was saved from the process in the end as after 3 years of trying and getting nowhere, my bloods taken at the first appointment and prior to an invasive procedure, revealed I was pregnant! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Brilliant news! I'm really pleased to hear that Skimper and fingers crossed the Hycosy helps0

All the best for the tests guys.
Nothing to report here. I suspect I'll be infertile until I stop feeding, like last time. So number 3 for a long while!
A good friend told us she was pregnant yesterday though, so I get to get my squishy cuddles there in the new year!0 -
Thanks hop hop and rambosmum.
My friend works on the reception for the ultrasounds and she books in the hycosys, she said there’s a 2 month wait but do get cancellations, so she said she’ll keep a look out for me and get me in ASAP, obvs we need to wait for OH test f results then the referral.0
