CCJ, sorry I have never used internet cheapies. I get my cheapies from Home Bargains! Crossing my fingers it is a faint positive for you. Maybe try again each day and see if it darkens?

Well I survived my general anaesthetic today, just! My body didn’t agree with the anaesthetic so I felt pretty rubbish for a while once I came round but I feel so much better now I’m home and had something to eat. I couldn’t drink from 6.30am and they didn’t take me down till 2.15pm so it was torture! I think I have ovulated but will wait to see what my temps say over the next couple of days, although the op may have affected it.

I am looking forward to a day recuperating and doing some xmas jobs tomorrow

Thanks PKK! Yeah I’m not too upset to be honest as I didn’t expect it to happen this quick anyway and at least I can have a drink now over the festive period. I’ve seen a raspberry cocktail I really want to try!

Aww PKK I'm sure you're glad to get it all over with you before Christmas!

Meanwhile I've been driving myself crazy....took 2 more ovulation tests last night, each one darker than the previous but not as dark as the control line (Dr Google has mixed feelings about this)

Feel so sick with excitement that I can't sleep so done another pregnancy test strip a little after 3am and I'm still convinced I can see a very very faint line. Could be an evap...normally AF would have been due today but because it's been a bit longer for some cycles Flo is telling me Saturday...tried to take a picture but the line doesn't show up on the phone...worried it's wishful thinking but I can't help myself but get excited...going to get frer's later and put myself out of my misery!

1940sgal, I LOVE a raspberry cocktail! I shall be enjoying several gins on christmas and boxing day I think! I need to be careful not to go too overboard though as we are going away for the night on 27th for OH's xmas gift which will mean more drinks! He doesn't know about it yet. We haven't been out together in SUCH a long time so I am really excited about it.

CCJ definitely get a FRER! Our brains just go into overdrive and it isn't fair on us is it? I always have a stash of my cheapie HM ones for this reason!

OH's second SA today... fingers crossed the results come back quickly so we know what's happening! If I'm honest I have convinced myself that he has no sperm count due to a blockage (he already has children so must have swimmers in there!). We've timed everything perfectly for quite a few months on the run recently, with blood tests and temping meaning I know I have ovulated so at least it would be an explanation and we can take action to resolve it and get our BFP!

I'm getting really impatient, I just want to test! I think i'm 11dpo today, would it show on a test that early?
I'm going to asda tonight so I pick up some tests & try and hold out till the morning to do it.

Ovia always tells you to test at 12dpo and I've seen people mention getting positives as early as 9dpo (although rare!) so I think you should test tomorrow! I think it would definitely need to be FMU if it is before AF is due to be the most accurate so try to hold out if you can!

Eeeeeeeek!
So...bought the frers...didn't want to waste them so done another ovulation strip when I got home which had a line. Done the frer and BFP!
Literally can't believe it, I know it's very early days so I'm trying not to get too excited!
Thank you all for your help and support, if it's okay I'd like to stick around until I have it confirmed by a doctor and then I'll move over to the other thread!
