Merry Christmas ladies, hope you've all had a lovely day.
I've had a very quiet one at the in laws, tomorrow will be a slightly madder one at my parents with sister & nephew. Can't wait to see his little face opening all his presents. Hopefully this time next week we will have one of our own!
I'm 30 in 3 weeks, so hopefully I'll have a bit of birthday luck!

CCJ Congratulations on the BFP!

Sorry I've not been around, I've been super busy. Ended up having a week off sick earlier this month for stress, and I'm on the waiting list for CBT to sort out my anxiety. In all of this mess DH and I only BD on one day (but twice!), which I think was CD16, and last Wednesday, 5 days after AF was due, I got a BFP! I can't believe it only took us two months of me not being on the pill to conceive, when last time it took almost a year to get a sticky baby.

Fingers crossed for a 30th bday present Skimper!

I have got some pinkish discharge today (sorry for tmi!) I am CD27 so presuming AF is on her way! With holiday and Christmas I have struggled to see when/if I ovulated - I have never had 28 day cycles, always longer. Trying not to get my hopes up that it could be implantation bleeding! I would secretly love to go home from here with a little surprise! It is so hard not to want it right here and now! If it is AF then at least I can drink on NYE haha!

Congratulations Lulu92 how lovely that you got a BFP so quickly! It is nice to hear that this is possible after struggling conceiving your first, as we are doing at the moment.

wootsit, the travel may have affected your cycle too. Fingers crossed it's implantation or a random bleed and you can take a little extra passenger home!

Christmas has been wonderful, and busy for us! We have a relaxed day tomorrow then a couple of days of seeing friends/family before heading back home.

OH got his semen analysis result today and was told it is 'abnormal' and the doctor will ring him Monday to discuss it in more detail. The last sample said there was no sperm and it needed to be repeated so I think that is what the result is this time. OH has two children so we know he producing sperm, but trusty google tells me that men can get a blockage which stops the sperm travelling to where they need to be! I am hoping we will get referred to the fertility specialists when he speaks to the doctor. Strangely I am happy that a reason has been discovered as I read that 'unexplained infertility' is very common which must be o frustrating! As I don't think a BFP is going to be coming anytime soon for us I am going to step down for the lists at the end of the month and just pop in every now and then. I've done them for a year now and it's so lovely to see everyone's BFP's but sometimes it can be difficult especially now I know there isn't a chance for us without medical intervention.

Would anyone like to take over the lists? It doesn't take too long to do, only about 4-5 mins.

Sorry to hear about the test results PKK, can the blockage be reversed? Hopefully the doctor will have some solutions for you.

I said if we didn't conceive by Dec I'd book myself an appointment with the doctors & get the ball rolling on some tests, but I'm kind of putting it off. I know I'm in the obese category( wouldn't know it to look at me) which I'm working on and I know she will bring it up but I've always had a hard time with my weight so I hate people mentioning it. So that's putting me off. I'm on my 12th cycle now & will be 12 months in March when we started trying. So I might put it off till then 🙈

I'm so happy for everyone that's come across the boards and gone away with a BFP, but it's wearing me down a bit, it's so hard to sit here and read everyone's success stories & it just won't happen for us. So I think I'm going to take a month away from the boards, concentrate on myself for a bit, less focus on ttc and see what happens.

Lots of baby dust to all you lovely ladies & I hope the new year brings lots of BFP.

Hopefully one of you can take on the lists, I've done it myself when PKK was away and it really is only a few minutes job.
