Hope you have a good holiday newthrift!

Nice of AF to show up and let you know things are working Selina, hope the change to your meds will help.

Fingers crossed for you Butterfly, I'd tell you to step away from Google and stop SS, but thats exactly what I've been doing this evening. :shhh:

Hi KatieBee, there's no harm in starting to take folic acid early, it'll get you in the habit of doing it anyway. Have been on anti depressants in the past, but not while ttc/pregnant. I know some are thought to be safer than others (think SSRIs are generally ok). One of my friends was on them all through her pregnancy, but not sure which ones. She said the antenatal mental health care she received was better than the care she had beforehand and was a bit gutted when she had to go back to seeing her gp after being discharged by the midwives.

Welcome Katie, I'd second starting folic acid asap, I think the guidelines are to take for at least 3 months before getting pg.

  • Millie at least you're half way through. Let the SS commence.:D

Big two faint lines sound really promising. I'm dying to see how faint these lines really are. When I found out I was pg last year we weren't ttc then but I had an inkling and tested and the line was faint DH was convinced there was nothing there but obviously there was.

Angel can i be updated to 1dpo please.

Sounds positive to me Big (no pun intended):)
Will be keeping both fingers crossed for you Millie. I always tell myself that I won't SS but inevitably do...
My body seems to have gone a bit crazy. I usually get a peak on the clear blue advanced sticks on CD 18-21, once randomly it was CD15.
This month it's CD12?! However the cheapo OPK is negative (both tested within 5 hours of each other).
It's frustrating as OH is other side of country during week so we have to leave work early, travel to meet up, book cheapest hotel going and do the deed in an hour or two. Not exactly romantic!!
So if the clear blue is wrong...

Anybody any ideas? I thought CM was showing fertile signs but now I'm not sure (I've also only just stopped taking Hayfever tablets as found out they dry you out)...

I'd trust the Clearblue, I hate cheapy sticks, don't trust them at all. I'd dtd tonight if you can! My cycles are over the place too, this month I got a peak on CD18 but it's been on CD10 in the past!

Big I'm dying for you to test again! When you do please post a pic! I love line spotting.

Let the SS begin! Having lunch today, I had potato waffles, beef burger and fried egg (I'm also feeding a picky 3 year old so forgive me for the extremely unbalanced meal!). Everything tastes fine, except the waffles which smelt and tasted to me like cleaning product! Mum couldn't smell or taste anything and son wolfed them down. The smell was so strong to me it made me gip!

Big & Millie sounds promising ... fx crossed!!!!

Athens I'm on my phone atm, I'll update you when get home from work & get a chance to get onto laptop.

Ladies I need a bit of advice, & I apologise in advance for tmi. AF started on Saturday, or so I thought - spotting Fri, lightish flow Sat, spotting on Sun morning & then it stopped completely. My periods normally last 3-4 days of light/medium flow, with maybe 1 day of heavier spotting, so this was def shorter & lighter than the norm. I had the teeniest amount of spotting yesterday (only when I wiped), & with my bloods seeming to suggest I've oved, & got my hopes up & decided to test. It was bfn, but it was tesco own brand blue dye test (they had no blooming pink dye tests in any shop I checked ) & it wasn't fmu (cos I'm so impatient). I've now had more spotting this afternoon. I've had no PMS whatsoever, but ever since Saturday I'm so tearful, my nipples are really tingly, & had loadsa cm for the past 2 weeks. Should I test again with frer? Should I wait a few days & test again? Am I mad to even keep hoping?

Sorry for the essay, my emotions & hormones really are all over place, i just seem to be swinging between hope & despair.
