I know what you mean CCJ, I!!!8217;m going to a wedding in December and not sure when to start looking at outfits. I!!!8217;m gonna start the OPKs tomorrow as they recommend CD11 on the pack and I!!!8217;m gonna see how I get on! App says CD15 for OV so will see if the OPKs match up with this.

I!!!8217;m the same with clothes shopping, I!!!8217;ve definitely bought less this year!

AF has arrived after a 65 day cycle. I!!!8217;m considering trying OPKs for the first time to try to find out if OV is happening, do you ladies think there!!!8217;s any point when my cycles are so long?

Ginger - id say maybe do them every other day? Then every day once you start to get a line/flashing face (depending on what your using) then your not using as many?
Probably best off using the cheap ones from Amazon. You can get 40 for a few £

We're going to give this month a proper go. Usually we would only do the deed about 3 times in the fertile window. This time were going to aim for every other day once AF stops and keep going past OV. Usually we stop the day after. Not easy when the other half works 12 your shifts and is up at 4am for work.

Aww so difficult! We dtd every other day after AF for the 11 "blue" days as shown on the Flo app which all say there is a chance to get pregnant. I'll let you know how I get on with that lol.

can I be moved to tww please? so hard to get the size/colour changed on a phone!!

Ginger, I agree that the cheap ones are probably best for you at the moment. You may not find out much whilst you are waiting for your cycles to shorten and regulate but at least you are doing something and means you may not feel as much frustration just waiting around. I also think it is really important to start understanding your body in the first few months so hopefully that will help!

I think we need to keep DTD after the fertile window on Ovia too. Last cycle we tried to do the SMEP but I found we were abit fed up by the time the fertile week came, and of course my static never arrived! So this time I think I will wait until the fertile week befor we start DTD every other day and cross my fingers we get a static this cycle. Even then I think we will keep DTD every couple of days a few more times depending how we are feeling! I'm off work until September so at least i don't need to worry about getting up early the next morning hahaha Fertile week starts Saturday according to Ovia but we are away with friends until Sunday so we will probably start then!
