Sakurah, congratulations on being asked to be MOH, I bet you are thrilled! Wedding planning is so fun! :D

As a bride-to-be, I would not want any of my best friends missing out on their chance to start a family because of one day (I know it is a very important day though!). I do understand that you wouldn't want to miss the wedding, but my advice would be not to put your own dreams on hold – I am sure your friend would understand!?

I do feel your predicament, we have set a date for our wedding next November. I am very conscious that this perhaps gives us a limited time to TTC, before we are going to have to make the decision to stop, as I don't want to be a 8/9 month pregnant bride! I don't mind being in the early stages of pregnancy (I am not a big drinker anyway), but I don't want to be ready to drop on the day! I guess only time will tell!

Faith177, you sound a lot more active than I am! I really need to get back into regular exercise, but I am trying to complete a post-grad course by next May! There isn't enough hours in the day! I make sure I always go for a walk at lunchtime, but must start doing a bit more.
You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You are on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the woman who will decide where to go

Of course not, its a Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development course (for HR). I am determined to get it done before the wedding...but wedding/baby planning is so much more interesting!!

Aww your friend sounds lovely, I hope your stay on this board is short, but that you still manage to get to her wedding in August! xx

CD21 here. We missed BDing at the end of my fertile window (according to Ovia) as I had to make an unexpected trip back to my hometown as my Dad isn't very well. I had sharp shooting pains in my back whilst I was there, which could be ovulation pains, could be something completely unrelated! We did BD last night and today is CD21, which is the days I have ovulated on when I used OPK;s for 2 months prior to my cycles going crazy. I'm not feeling too confident this month. Hopefully I'll get the OPK's from the CD study in time for the next cycle.

    Hi everyone!

Newbie here :) My fiance and I (29) are getting serious about TTC#1, had the implant out in Nov 2017 been NTNP since then really.

The past two cycles we have been actively trying, so just trying to take more notice of what my body is doing. I think I'm CD16, but don't really want to do the serious tracking stuff (think I'll go a bit loopy) so don't know when/if I've ovulated!

Of course as soon as we got serious about trying a close friend at work announced she is 10 weeks! So happy for her but want it for myself now!

Sorry to hear that your Dad is unwell PKK, I hope he recovers soon.

Welcome to the board Bapbap, we are of similar ages (we are also trying for our first). I am currently using two apps, but they seem to suggest different dates for ovulation so I am not too sure of my cycles yet either.

PKK – please could I be added to the list? I am CD9.

    Thanks xx

Thanks Lola and Faith - I certainly wouldn't stop ttc completely before friends wedding, but I think I might skip the month that would give a May due date. I would definitely definitely not want to miss it!

Welcome Bapbap! I hope your stay is short.

I took a test today and BFN. Still a few days before AF is due though. I'm due to start the clear blue trial next cycle so that's something to look forward to!
