Hi HopHop
Of course, that makes perfect sense!
Hopefully I will receive the pack shortly and all will be clear!
Thanks againYou have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You are on your own, and you know what you know. And you are the woman who will decide where to go2019 Bride:heart2: 09.11.2019 :blushing:0 -
I got my £100 for the clear blue study. We chose a restaurant e card for ours!
Hope you!!!8217;re all doing well.0 -
AF due on Friday - so far no symptoms that I can tell of. Keeping my fingers crossed, would be such a lovely thing to be able to tell the OH hes going to be a dad in time for fathers day!
Booked a weekend away for my 30th in Jan - worked out if we get a positive this month I would be about 8 weeks before my due date. Its only to Centreparcs so would be a chilled one anyway.0 -
Right so me and the OH decided to finally bite the bullet and to start trying but other than the obvious I dont know what I should be doing and I dont have any female relatives I can talk to and just looking for some advise if this is the right place to go if not sorry for bothering everyone
I have been on the pill for 10 years and finished my last pack on Saturday and wont be starting the next I know this may take a while to leave my system but what should I expect from coming off the pill?
I will be starting to take folic acid as I know this is important but is it best to just take this or is it better to take some of the conception vitamins?
Any other tips that people have would be greatly appreciated as I feel excited but at the same time a little overwhelmed if that makes senseFirst Date 08/11/2008, Moved In Together 01/06/2009, Engaged 01/01/10, Wedding Day 27/04/2013, Baby Moshie due 29/06/2019 :T0 -

I have got the impression that the CB trial organisation and customer service it a little lax too! My first cycle on the study was a silly long one, so they wanted me to test on the same CD in cycle 2 that my period arrived in cycle 1, which is understandable. This in turn meant that my period arrived earlier than they wanted me to test, so I dropped them an email and they asked me to test the next day. It might be worth doing that Katiebee? I have found all the responses to emails quite blunt and unfriendly, definitely not displaying high customer service skills! I would have thought they would be nicer in emails as ultimately they are relying on us completing the tests as they have instructed otherwise their results won!!!8217;t be genuine. I think the emails telling you when to test etc are automated, so it is possible there has been an IT issue for some of you!
Skimper, Centreparcs is a great choice! Which one have you booked? You will be fine there if you are pregnant as you say
Welcome faith177! I didn!!!8217;t have any symptoms coming off the pill other than normal PMS ones. My periods returned straight away but some others have taken a few months, so it!!!8217;s just about seeing what happens and not worrying. Definitely start taking folic acid. I wouldn!!!8217;t bother with conception vitamins at this stage it is debatable whether they help or not and they are expensive! Folic acid is super cheap I get 100 tablets for less than £1. I would recommend keeping track of when you have your period and when you BD. I used the Ovia app for this and find it really helpful! I started doing this as soon as I came off the pill even though we knew we weren!!!8217;t going to start trying for a few months as it meant I started to understand my cycle.0 -
Welcome Faith! Ask away everyone is very helpful! I can!!!8217;t help with pill related questions i am afraid I used the copper coil for nearly 6 years, I hope you are not here too long and you get your BFP soon!
What is everyones thoughts on castor oil packs? I was you tubeing a few things the other night as you know one video leads to another and I came across castor oil packs that !!!8220;promote!!!8221; fertility apparently helps build up a nice lining after AF. Anything is worth a try so I am currently lying on the sofa after making my own pack, OH is also on male conception vitamins after that weird test result the other night, literally trying anything this month lol

Welcome Faith!
Just to share my experience of coming off the pill, I stopped taking it in January after 15 years and my cycles are taking a while to return to normal. I’ve only had 2 periods since, one after 7 weeks and the second after another 12 weeks. No other symptoms except that I do think my mood has improved a little!0
