Hope everyone is having a fab bank holiday weekend?!

Today I am celebrating CD1 after 123 long days!

I spoke with the doctor last week again and she explained that my bloods done before I went on holiday showed a surge in LH and the bloods when I came back showed significantly high progesterone suggesting I ovulated on holiday but must have missed it as we did BD quite a few times! She said I should be due AF this week or next judging by that but I didn't want to believe it until I seen it!

I'm thinking that I haven't ovulated the last couple of months and that's why I've had no period as I definitely noticed some changes this month

Hey guys. I wasn't going to post this for a couple of weeks but I can't resist and I know some of you are struggling so I'm hoping this helps...

2 days ago (and again yesterday!!) I got a BFP!! I'm 16DPO and only tested because we had a big BBQ yesterday which is normally pretty boozy. First one in 13 long months and 8/9 unpredictable, frustrating cycles. I'm not assuming all will be plain sailing from here, so we're being cautiously optimistic, but for us this at least means things are working!!! We can make a baby!!

Some stuff I hope might help someone...what did we do this month? Honestly nothing different. Didn't temp so was a bit more chilled, and had been on holiday just before ov, but otherwise still did OPKs when I saw CM changing and BD-d accordingly. And bear in mind I've only temped since Jan so really this cycle was the same as any cycle last year.

Symptoms...well it's interesting! Honestly ZERO of the big ones - no sore boobs, no nausea, no cramping, no tiredness. This is one of the reasons I'm still very nervous and not getting too excited. If I HAD to call it I would say my skin has broken out more than normal and I was CRAZY hungry between 10-14DPO, and still am a bit.

However, the one thing I absolutely did have was the infamous implantation bleeding! Those who have been here a while know I always spot before AF and I got some tell-tale brown CM at 10DPO,but then at the same time that day when I wiped (sorry TMI) where just 2 bright red spots of pink. This was my first "could I be...?" moment. But then I had more browny red CM, albeit very light, on days 11 and 12 so had assumed I was out as usual. But then all cleared up from day 13 so I did wonder...

So sorry for the rant but I hope to give some hope to some of you who have been here a while!! Only problem is that as things we're working we're supposed to be going to Italy on Saturday so now need an urgent Docs appointment to get the OK!!:eek:

Thanks mouse and big5! I'm really hoping this is me back on track :j going by my bloods this looks like another long cycle but I'm happy with that if they are at least regular.
