Zeni I don't know if there's an ideal cycle, but 26 days seems fine to me - you get 14 chances per year, when some ladies have a lot fewer. Though obviously I hope we are all graduated in under a year (PLEASE)!
Crossing fingers and toes for Munchkin, Mrs Nubs and 2ba3c!
Thanks Cherry, That's a great way to look at shorter cycles - wandered off to calculate my 25/27/28 day cycles and looks like I should get 13 chances in a year so that's exciting....hopefully takes less but positive anyway - thanks:j PAID VERY, Barclaycard x3, Vanquis, Natwest, O/D, Tesco & MBNA x2 PAID :j LBM 24/07/15 - Original Debt: £0/31010.23 (100% paid)

Sorry Athens, I've definitely had rotten colds as AF is due. I think everything just slows down. I always feel a bit sluggish.....
MrsNubs- I'm with 2b, if you see ewcm, try try try, lol. Maybe something weird happened and you're ov'ing late?
Cats, I take vit b, my luteal phase was 8/9 days. I'm up to 11/12 now. Still not ideal but better. Oh my cycles are about 45 days less chances this year but it only take one lucky cycleTTC #3..........0 -

Morning all,
I had some weird hot flushes yesterday and some this morning after eating. AF was due yesterday, but I kept cramping like usual and knowing she would show up. Decided I would wait for her to arrive today, but the hot flush this morning made me think for a second that maybe I might be pregnant. I didn't even really want to dare to hope.
So I got out my cheapie PG tests, and did 3 - and have 3 tiny little positives.
The only thing I did differently this month was pop a moon cup in after insemination. My friend had told me about soft cups, but they don't sell them in the UK any more, so I thought maybe a moon cup (although smaller and doesn't sit as close to the cervix) might work as well.... After we inseminate, we usually have a 2-3 hour drive home...and I hate the thought of all basically coming back out again when it should be going the other way!!
So off to buy a digi now to see if my tests really are right.

Congrats 2b! And sorry for af for those she got this month.
Can I be moved to the 2ww please, 2dpo? Hoping we dtd enough over the last week or so, feels like hard work during term time! Been struggling with stress etc with work though so it has been nice in a way "having" to be so close when normally we wouldn't when we are tired/stressed. Intense ov symptoms again this month which is a new thing for me post mc, good to be confident when it's happening though!0 -
WHY are the feelings before AF and signs of pregnancy the same????!!!!!! It's so annoying. Pretty sure I'm not pregnant but no AF yet. It's so frustrating.
Sorry, just needed to vent as I feel so rubbish.0 -
Evening All,
I've been lurking for a while but we're now almost ready to begin TTC baby #2.
Our little boy will be 3 in August, so we now feeling that the time is right to add another addition to our family. In the last 6 months, i've started a new role at work, so need to be in this role for at least a year so we've had to delay TTC until now to make sure I qualify for full Maternity Leave. Initially, I was feeling guilty having secured this new role with a payrise and now looking to conceive, but i've had an honest chat with my boss who I think saw this coming so my guilt and worry had eased.
We're looking to start trying in April/May time, so I shall lurk until then. I came off the pill in October so we're pretty much ready to go.
As I earn more than my OH, and he works 4 days a week. I'm contemplating taking 6 months maternity leave, and then for OH to take over the final 3 months using the Shared Parenting Leave option which wasn't around when we had our little boy. Does anyone know any specifics about this? I've read some info online but not 100% sure.
Sending you all baby dust!
