    Morning Everyone,

CD1 for me please twig. Wine and Choc much needed, on the day I start my diet :(

No actual AF yet but the worst stomach cramps which tells me she's on her way a few hours before she actually arrives.

  • I came home from work last night feeling really ill. So pretty much went straight to bed. I then woke up at 1 am to see which school DD had been placed at. She was given a school further away than her 3 choices and a religion which we're not.

I then spent the next 3 hours crying and not sleeping because of the worry of telling her. She's a worrier too and I knew she wouldn't deal with it very well (which she hasn't).

I think AF is likely to be late now just because of the stress. I can't stop crying for her. I think because I was upset she held it in but as soon as I left her she rang me crying. I'm really struggling to control my emotions today. So all thoughts if TTC and AF are a bit on the backburner.

So sorry for your daughters school placement athensgeorgia - is there any chance of appeal or is it a done deal now?

I've submitted an appeal but just don't feel very confident. You have to appeal on the grounds why she should attend your choice of school not the reasons why she shouldn't attend the school she was placed at.

In different circumstances I would have told her to persevere but it has really bad results, I don't agree with the religious aspect and it's a bit too far away.

I can't stop thinking about her crying and begging to come home from school because everyone else in the class was happy at their places.

Fingers crossed for your appeal - you'd think the distance and religious aspect would be enough!

Plenty of cuddles for you both later I imagine.

Sorry to hear your daughter didn't get any of preferred school choices, athensgeorgia. For what it is worth, I hear there is still time for some movement, so don't lose all hope. (((hugs)))

    Congrats due to Chelle, too!

I've done SO WELL with not thinking as obsessively about being pregnant this 2ww! FWIW, I don't think I am. I don't have any of the things I had when I did fall pregnant in 2013, one of which was a huge increase in creamy CM right after, so much so it was so unusual I noticed it, without having to check for it - if you get my drift. None of that this time, and I can't help but feel that the timing just wasn't right.

Any ideas on how to increase your Cervical Mucus (to get the Egg white consistency), I vaguely remember drinking cough mixture in 2013, but can't remember much about it. like how much and when!

OH! And as my MIL was over visiting us in half term when I was ovulating, we had to tell her - so she could watch the kids while we went to meet our donor. And then we had to cut short a visit with my parents because we had to go and meet him, so they had to find out too....

    PRESSURE!!!!! I *hate* people knowing.

Sorry kirtsypoos, will pop you at CD1. Just shout if it needs to change.

Athens. Sorry you've had a crappy day. I hope you have your feet up and fingers crossed that your appeal goes well. I would weigh heavy on the religion aspect in your appeal. Good luck

Ab - I remember some chat on robitussen. Can't remember how much and when but maybe a quick google on robitussen now might help :). I would have done it but as always, rushing in and rushing out :rotfl:
