Sorry to hear that Millie. I am finding it extremely hard but I feel selfish because I've not really been trying long compared to some (and I did get a BFP quite early, regardless of outcome).

My BBTs are not playing ball this month, I thought I'd done so well but ov will not confirm unless I discard 2 of my temps, which you're not meant to do. Sigh. Watch and wait and hope it is!

I forgot to mention, regarding my suspected chemical pregnancy, the GP said there was nothing they would or could do about it (even recording it) and that I should just avoid testing early. I had already decided not to test early anyway though.

Sorry Cats I've only just seen your reply. I think I've left it too late to test this cycle, I'm on CD12 now so if I don't catch this month I will definitely track it properly next month, thanks for your advice xx

Hello all and the newbies. Scuse the delay I have been feeling fed up that nothing has happened so took a break from the thread. I am on CD2 now and have had another cycle in between. At least my cycles seem to be evening up a bit.

I am debating going to see the GP as I was told it would be sensible if nothing happened after 6 months (because I have PCOS), but am a bit scared of being prodded and poked, know losing a stone or two would help and haven't been DTD enough.

I blame OH for the latter who is like nearly everything else in life is super chilled about TTC. He even casually sad 'maybe I'm the problem' and was then really surprised that made me feel worse not better. Grrr! Think I might try ovulation tests just in case they work for me

millie I'm sorry.

Well I need some advice from anyone who understands the whole cervix. On Tuesday I went for a smear test. The nurse happened to mention my cervix was very high suggesting I may have ovulated ( yay!) so when should I expect Af. Are you higher for just before or after ovulation? Obviously even if I did ov we are out cos couldn't have unprotected sex leading up to smear.

Midget the cervix is def higher around ov. I think it's maybe for a few days either side of ov, but I'm not 100% sure on that. As to when to expect AF, that would depend on the length of your luteal phase - generally it tends to be around 12-16 days, but can be a bit longer or shorter. FX that you did ov!!!

Easily for me the thought of going to speak to GP was so much scarier than actually doing it. And after I felt pleased that I was actually doing something pro-active.

Well I decided to do an OPK yesterday and it was negative, however I have serious cramps around my left ovary this morning. I mean they are crippling at times. Also we BD last night and it was really painful so I'm guessing I am really close to OV'ing. Does anyone else experience pain DTD around OV?
