How many toilets/bathrooms does your home have?
Comments

We have 3. Upstairs main bathroom, ensuite bathroom and a teeny tiny downstairs bathroom.
Does a three bed house need 3 bathrooms? Nope! We're thinking of removing the downstairs one to make the kitchen bigger.
I do really like having an en suite though.0 -
One toilet in the upstairs bathroom. As there are only two of us, it rarely causes problems. However, we are about to build a utility room onto the kitchen, and I think it would be better to incorporate a downstairs loo. Should we bother, as I bet I still end up going upstairs? If we get too old to use the stairs, I'm sure we can get a stairlift!0

We have four, one downstairs toilet, 2 ensuite shower rooms and a family bathroom and there are 4 of us living in the house. Downstairs toilet gets the most use as we all use it most of the time. I don't mind cleaning them.
I was brought up with one bathroom/toilet between 6 of us and there were no issues that I can remember.0 -
One toilet in the bathroom of our 1930s bungalow.
In our static caravan, we have one in the shower room and one in the ensuite.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
Two. One in the bathroom and a downstairs loo. There were two of us when we bought the house but just me here now. I wouldn't have bought a house without a downstairs toilet though - my mum can't get upstairs and my home needs to be fully accessible to her so she can visit whenever she wants for as long as she wants0

I live alone, 2 loos.
Downstairs is easy to go to as it's closest.
Upstairs is awkward to access as it's in the tiny bathroom and wasn't really thought out that well when they built it for the door to open inwards - at which point the door's almost touching the bath and the loo's behind the door, so you have to squidge up against the sink to shut the door. I only use that one once every 2-3 weeks just to make sure it's still working.
I think 2's perfect as I'm anxious when strangers enter my house - so, should a stranger wish to use the loo, I'd not feel comfortable sending them upstairs, to the bedrooms area. It's just "easier on my anxiety" if I can point them to a downstairs loo.0 -
We have a reasonably newly built home. It's a two bed with two toilets. One in the bathroom and one downstairs. Wouldn't be without a downstairs loo now.0

Two. One in a downstairs cloakroom. One in the bathroom. My house was built in 1969 and so en suites weren't a common thing and the layout of the house means that installing one would be quite difficult because the bigger bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house.
I've had en suites in the past but I can't say I was particularly keen on them.
I can't recall an occasion when two toilets wasn't enough for our family of four. You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0 -
We have 1 toilet at the moment, in the bathroom. We are having an extension built at the front so will have a down stair one as well.Treat other's how you like to be treated.
