You would have to.
I'm living the UK 2016 citizen experience.
No you're living the 2016 Tromking experience and as depressing and unhappy as they may make you it doesn't prove that there's an issue with anything beyond you.
As a general rule when one person is referring to data and the other is referring to vague anecdotal experience it isn't the person using anecdotes that should be taken seriously.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Blackwhite bellyfeel double plus good...0 -
Extremely proud of my country Gen. Hence mine and my families long term commitment to it.
I'm not extremely proud of any country, they all have terrible histories along with some great accomplishments.
The vagaries of birth by chance seems an odd way to shape your "proudness". I'd rather be committed to humanity as a whole than some particular country.
Maybe the image below best illustrates my world views0 -

By your definition my 9 year old son is dodging tax.
I have set up a junior isa for him and one the core holdings (the popular vanguard life strategy series) is held I believe in Ireland.
Cameron paid capital gains on his "off shore" fund as is required in under law. My son won't pay any.
There is no moral high ground to be found in being an ignorant twonk
It is not remotely the same.
ISAs are available to anyone able to save enough money to contribute to them.
If you are really incapable of understanding the difference between this, and people worth millions hiring expensive accountants and fund managers to move their finances into shell companies and baffling webs of offshore investment vehicles, then I suggest you reappraise your opening comment.
It almost certainly reveals much more about you than it does about me.
On a separate note, and not directed at Mistermeaner who appears to be artless, lacking in any kind of grace or wit, coarsely dislikable and probably unable to follow this debate from any vantage point other than his own myopia, I would welcome ISAs disappearing.
I also do not care if the rules on pensions were changed too. I would much prefer it if everyone paid tax, the NHS was properly funded, and the trains ran on time.
The £3 or whatever I saved on my ISA last year is irrelevant to me.0 -
We have now debated this matter at my work and I have to say we are all shocked and horrified.
Cameron makes himself out as a toff and yet his Dad's estate was only about 2.7 million which makes them a family of oiky plebs....I think....0 -

Never said I was depressed or unhappy, perhaps I have aspirations for a different UK.
I`m happy to concede that my experience is not other peoples, its my contention however that some people do better under a Cameron government than others. Hence my point about political choices.
Living and witnessing the effects of Government policy every day is in my view preferable to viewing the raw data of a country you chose to leave. Politics is much more than just data.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

So you're an Internationalist?
I'm no Socialist myself but it`s a legitimate viewpoint.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -
Perhaps Gen would feel different if he/she hadn't chosen to leave austerity hit Britain and live somewhere else. The UK for some people is not a happy place to reside at the moment.0
