Cameron Tax Dodger

That's rich coming from someone who probably knows very little about what fairness is!
I acknowledge I don't understand tax law. I said that at the start. Perhaps you work in financial services and do have a greater grasp of it but that's not the point. We are in areas where experts themselves disagree. We are in areas of conflict between what is strictly legal against what is morally correct. The line between tax evasion and tax avoidance is murky. Rich people like Cameron employ people to give them advice on how to take advantage of this! I would say ....tax avoidance by investing in ISA's in the UK is morally acceptable and perfectly legitimate.....whereas the use of overseas havens is at the other end of the scale! What is the motive behind such vehicles? Is everyone liable for tax in the UK able to take advantage of the same opportunities? I read somewhere you had to have 50k up front to invest in Blairmore! Surely when money is invested in such places it is not liable for tax in the UK? and surely that is detrimental to the greater good?
The reason why Cameron is a lying scumbag is because he knew this and tried to hide from us what he is. He didn't want us to know about his circumstances because it doesn't fit with the public image he wants us to have of him. He is a fraud!0 -

If you invest in a fund in a tax haven as a British resident you have exactly the same responsibility for paying tax on income and gains as if the fund was in the UK.
My Cameron claims to have paid tax on the income and to have made a capital gain less than the CGT threshold for the period concerned so had no CGT to pay.
So either he is lying in which case he has done something wrong but nobody knows about it or is telling the truth in which case he has done nothing wrong either morally or legally.
Interesting that despite admitting that you don't have a clue about tax so having no way of knowing whether Mr Cameron has done anything wrong you have come to a conclusion that he has done something wrong!0 -
More hate fueled BS. What evidence do you have, as opposed to supposition, that Mr Whittingdale has done anything wrong?
We get it, you despise the Tories. It doesn't make your increasingly bizarre rantings any more reasonable.
Who are 'we'....you speak on behalf of others now Generali? It's not 'bizarre rantings' at all....it's all over the news here.....perhaps you don't know that for some reason?
Mr Whittingdale has a penchant for prostitutes and dominatrix and the gutter press knew about it but chose not to write about it because he is the Minister responsible for decisions on Leveson. He is therefore compromised as far as his impartiality goes and there is some evidence of this emerging. This is what I referred to above!0 -

The above is the nub of the whole sorry tale.
Blithely repeating the mantra "he did nothing wrong" misses the point completely.“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

But he didn't do anything wrong!
Just because people are too stupid to understand that doesn't make Mr Cameron guilty of anything. It just means there are a lot of stupid people out there.0 -

I think Cameron shot Kennedy, the evidence is overwhelming:
1. He's a Tory
2. He's rich
3. I don't like himChuck Norris can kill two stones with one birdThe only time Chuck Norris was wrong was when he thought he had made a mistakeChuck Norris puts the "laughter" in "manslaughter".I've started running again, after several injuries had forced me to stop0 -
I dont care what he 'claims'. I don't believe that he has fully declared his overseas interests. He has disclosed as much as he has to to meet the demands of the situation he is in and no more! It's not good enough! Read what I said above re. his motives!
You just hate him for being a posh Tory. That much is clear. You hated him before any of this happened and this is just another stick to beat him with. Why are you defending him so much? He is a crook! I agree there are a lot of stupid people out there. They are like sheep and can't see they are being shafted everyday by him and his ilk!
Why are you attacking him so much? You have no evidence that he's a crook.
I find people like you to be much the same way as a wasp at a picnic: annoying, pointless and ultimately inconsequential.0
