HMRC Self Assessment Repayments 2016

Hi , I submitted my SA on the 06/04/16 , it's been on bank repayment pending , whilst all my work mates received there money last week , I called them today and was told it was having security checks and I will hear something by the 19th May . Is this a common thing ?

Hi , submitted my SA on 11th and requested repayment on 12th . Been pending ever since , I call them said its getting security check , should be done by 12th of May . Seems like there all say the same ?

done mine also on the 6th, been pending ever since - what an ABSOLUTE joke - its not right that so many get checked that takes such a long time, a few days acceptable but weeks and weeks on end is a !!!!ing joke im absolutely fuming, all the lads i work with have received theirs yet im the lemon that hasnt and for what reason??? its a terrible system they have in place!

i asked to speak to a manager on the phone and she told me its down as being back the "11th may" what a joke!

After 12 sometime it's been updated this morning 26th

Just a called them and been told it's under security checks

Same here been told they have til 11th may
