Bank repayment pending both mean same I think

Hi everyone done my partners 6th at 4pm requested payment and it is still pending. Have spoken to hmrc and it is going through security checks they pretty much said any requested payment that is pending for over 7days is going through security checks. Have said we will hear back by the 11th may however we have been doing returns for 10years last year it took until 6th of july due to security checks!!

I don't think they are fobin people off with security checks. We actually got a letter on Friday from hmrc regarding his SA from the year before saying compliance check! There was an error. it now works out that now we owe 350 tax from last year 😑 anyway its all sorted the gentleman on the phone said that's why our new one was still pending but he said he couldn't tell us the amount of our refund now and when it would complete. They will do the adjustment to take the tax owed from last year. Be interesting to see what happens now.

Not sure have you requested payment some people have had to and some haven't

Submitted on the 12th, had to request repayment on 13th been 'bank repayment pending' ever since. Did anyone do there's on this date and had there's? Many thanks

Hi completed mine on the 6th also....Will the website update today? As I received a email from hmrc on Saturday! Saying I had a message and to log on. Logged on and nothing there. Thanks
