I got an email asking me to download this 'Daily Juice' thing which the email said they will be using from now on or something - it doesn't seem to work though (don't know if there are never any surveys or it just doesn't like me lol). Before that I hadn't had an email off them for months, but then I found over the last 2 years they've really slowed down and tailed off - when I started with them it seemed to be at least one a week if not more (I got loads) now - nothing :( Oh well, I've had quite a few good books out of them so can't complain, just would like it to continue - I like reading :)
Do not feed the trolls please.
  • PixiePie, I've not received anything about Daily Juice. Weird!
  • thank goodness im not the only one havin problems loggin in - i havnt used the site in ages and when i tried to log in it kept saying my details werent recognised. tis is so annoying as i think there is some money sitting in my account - think ill email them about it now :)

I have just recieved this email from the panel (which is to be no more). I am really annoyed as I have £4.50 in my account so one or two more surveys would have been enough to get a five pound voucher but it looks like I will now loose this . Will email them to find out if there will be any more surveys but it looks doubtful.

    Dear Juicy Brain,
We've come to a BIG decision
From the 10th December 2008 we’re closing the JuicyBrains Panel and replacing it with a JuicyBrains Community. This is part of a larger change in direction from asking you to take standard surveys to seeking your involvement in creating new products and services for the big brands and companies we work for. (More details at the end of the letter.)

Since we’re closing the JuicyBrains Panel, we wanted to ensure there was a replacement for those of you who enjoy doing standard surveys and being paid for your participation. So, we’d like to recommend a partner of ours, Ciao, who would welcome you with open arms. In addition to standard surveys they also ask their panellists for reviews of existing products and they offer incentives for both activities. If you’d like to join Ciao, just click here.

    THE JUICYBRAINS COMMUNITY
In the coming weeks, we’ll email you with a link to join the JuicyBrains Community. This has been designed to connect big brands who need innovation with those of you who’d like to be involved in creating new ideas and services. As a community member you can select the innovation projects you’re interested in and interact with a large team including the brand team over a number of weeks to invent new ideas. Instead of paying small incentives for participation, there will be larger prizes for the best ideas as ranked by your fellow team members.

IMPORTANT. Remember we’ll be closing the Juicy Brains Panel on 10th December 2008. If, before that date, your credit balance is £5 or more, please make sure you collect your Amazon vouchers. Unfortunately we won’t be able to issue any vouchers after 10th December, so any outstanding credit balances after that date will lapse.

    In the meantime, Happy Juicing!

Other sites seem to have no problem in giving out £1 or £2 amazon vouchers, wonder why they can't do that now they're closing down?
    I've got £2.50 left but £2.50 is £2.50!

I have £4.50 in my account too!
A few months back I reccommended two friends who went on to sign up to Juicy Brains, I never recieved my recommendation reward (about 25p each I think- just enough to get my balance to £5) a I wrote to juicy brains twice asking about this, the responded that they would look into it but never got back to me. Guess I know why now!!

I found out about the above email via one of my recommended friends, they haven't sent one to me at all- seems they've been planning for a while to do this and were perhaps avoiding paying out more than they had to

I've just had 13 identical emails telling me anout the closure - maybe one of them was meant for you!
    I had £3 in my account which I suppose I can say good-bye to.
    Born to shop;)
  • I just got the email too.
I had £15.50 in my account so cashed it in but they only sent me 1 £10 amazon voucher but no £5 voucher
Still unfair that i will lost 50p, 50p is 50p & i earnt it so they should send people a cheque for whats in their account. Why should be lose out on any money.
Gonna have to email them now to see where my £5 voucher is, the £10 voucher came straight away.

I'm fuming! I only had £3.50 but I've EARNT this!!

To suggest people will be paid for participation in surveys and then not give people the chance to cash it in is simply wrong and dishonest!

I don't want to give big brands all my best marketing ideas for the CHANCE to win a prize......I would like my £3.50 thank you very much!

Sorry, rant over - but it makes me mad, when we add up all the £3.50's owed to people I bet its a lot of money!!
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
