Santander ATMs have been compromised in Lancs and possibly elsewhere

But until they know which specific ATMs are targeted it's likely to be unreasonable to close down every machine in the north west.

Santander have told customers not to use them in Lanks. Seems reasonable that they shut these ones off.

Surely all that is required is a member of staff to inspect the machines and if there are any suspicious ''attachments'' switch the machine off by pulling the plug.
Perhaps they don't want to pay out to staff for attending a branch at weekends?

How do you know the officer is removing cash,? When and where was the photo taken? Judging by the light scatter it was taken in the late evening so not today.

Defo resource pulling, not the odd machine but quite alot in a big area :eek:



Still no statement from Santander... 'we take our customers security seriously' REALLY?!!
