Thanks for your lovely thoughts.
Have been managing to keep the DF faith despite the spends account looking bleak for no particular reason. Good news I sold an item on fleabay that we won and they have agreed to pay cash in collection. Further £25 to saving pot. This weekend will be about labelling for the sale next Saturday, hoping to make £100.
£3 p1nec0ne payment arrived, moved to savings.
Have loads of food, maybe a few store cupboard items at the end of next week but definitely limit as much as possible.0 -

Bit happier on the money front. Sold an item for £15 on fleabay and £25. Have also sold something on local FB page for £10 although one buyer has gone awol but will offer to another lady who was interested.
Dug out another dozen or so items from DD bedroom for sale. Listed a couple locally and rest will go into sale next sat. Have about 6 boxes, 2 done and rest to go. Have a big bag labelled from last time. Want to get the winter stuff done though as next sale not until spring.
Also want to photograph nursery set (still need to wash the curtains:o) as I'm going to list that there but not take as its to bitty. I'm also going to take my pushchair, which should free up some space.
Having roast dinner today from left overs that I have previously frozen, apart from a bit if fresh veg. Lovely.
Ordered some Christmas presents online in the sale, used a voucher, but need to collect them today. Also want to go for a run as I've let this slip recently.0 -
That's great for your sales! Speaking of buggies Im not sure mines going to be good for much longer. We bought it for DS so almost 8 years ago. It looks like a Phil and Teds but is really a single layer all terrain jobbie. Wasnt cheap. We were using the Maclaren for DD as its just easier to get on and off public transport although a bit of a bone shaker in comparison. The wheel broke so we then started using the posh buggy for her but after around 6 months use again it is starting to look ropey. It operates by a system of zipped reclining sections which are a bit of a pain tbh. Ideal if the child isnt in there but if they are their weight forces the material. The very bottom zips needed to lay it flat are breaking. One of the tyres has gone a bit weird. I think from either mounting the kerb too hard or something. And we need another new rain cover. Again. Those things are so ridiculously expensive. £20 plus quid for a bit of plastic I ask you! Anyway I think we will need another one at some point very soon." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

That's a pain, I wish you were nearer, I'd happily gift you mine. It's a mamas & papas one but I bought it when dd1 was about 12 months as the combi one I had was a bit cumbersome. It's done us proud but still would be good for someone. It'll also free up some space in the garage0 -
Oh sorry I wasn't hinting for your buggy but what a kind thought if we were closer by" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Another busy couple of days. Now have the money in my hand for two nest of tables. One which we won and the other we have been using daily for about 7 years so have had our money's worth. £35 more to savings. Today has been a good surveys day, despite an ip0s one not loading I get 225 bonus points for completing 75 surveys so am half way towards payout, 20p on 1poll, £3 p1nec0ne (plus product to test) and £7 on pr0lific
am well chuffed.
Must label some more items for sale, running out of time. I've done the easy stuffI'll do an hour now if I can get smalls to sleep soon so they don't disturb DH.
So it's the 3rd and my mortgage payment didn't go down as expected, bit disappointed but had budgeted for the higher amount so not the end of the world but I could have found a job for the £100
Realised that despite starting two wedding savings pots for next year for two family weddings I'll have to start a 3rd for stag do as DH is best man (so can't be excused type thing ) I'll pass on any fancy hen do and will go if there is something sensible like a meal. Good job I started saving early
Decent meal plan for week ahead, all items in, so no shopping required. Have bagged an extra day as DH had left overs at lunch and didn't want tea so I made a spread cheese sandwich for mealso made pesto with ys basil which I'll use for a lasagne I spotted on fortune smiles diary
Lunch tomorrow is spicy root veg casserole which I made on Sunday whilst cooking roast. Right time to get off line and do some labelling.0 -
Did well over two hours of labelling last night. Two recorded episodes of bake off helped
have some more that I can do but won't pressurise myself if I don't get to do it as I've got loads. Just need to print off some photos of the nursery set. Will do at work, probably Thursday now.
Cash £9.02 on pr0lific tonight, £3 p1nec0ne cashed out and withdrew £9.64 from £co. Nice £20 of 'free' money to go to savings. Paid rainbow subs from cash too, so will move another £20 from that piggy to savings to balance the books.
Need to message a couple of people tonight about various things, potential handmade Christmas gifts, old friend I've not seen in a while etc...
Also want to check on my Septmeber to do list to see where I'm at. All in all not a bad day.0 -
Evening diary
today was sale day and I'm knackered. Frustrated at volunteers that don't really volunteer just swan around joking jack **** I really had to bite my tongue. Unfortunately it might stop me volunteering again. However, I've felt like this before the night after the sale, I'm sure I'll feel different in a few weeks :rotfl: I also lost a fiver whilst there
feels like what comes in one hand goes in the other. Boo!!
Also undecided about going to a funeral on Monday that would need me to stay away tomorrow. My colleagues are claiming cost back on ex's not sure if I've got the guts to do that (even though we're in the same team) and I really don't have the cash to fund it. im pretty sure it's also as I'm not sure whether it's the right thing to go. Need to decide tomorrow morning.
Money arrived in account from various surveys today so split between 3 savings pots. Fleabayer saying item not arrived, I stupidly out it in the post box as it was small than got p o p. Boo! Have refunded.
On house news we've got 3 new shiny radiators meaning we can now do skirting. I also think I've decided on curtains. Not my dream pair but balanced cost v look. Will need 2 pairs sewing for width but hoping a friend of mums can do it for me
Still 5 days until payday. No movement in account, doesn't make me want it to come sooner.0 -
That's a real tricky one about the funeral. Do you think you would have the closure without going?" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
