Morning all. Grey, rainy and bleak here. Well it is BH :rotfl:

I may have to use the TD today if sun doesn't put in an appearance just to dry the bedding that was on the line yesterday.

Must, must label some goods this week for sale a week on Saturday. Won't be able to tomorrow as out in the evening so could do with doing some tonight. It's quite quick when I get in the swing of it. Just need to start ;)

Cat most put out that it's raining - keeps meowing at me like it's my fault ;)

Today will be mainly sorting and getting ready for week ahead as smalls are back at school tomorrow. Think we're all in need of a return to routine!
  • Oh my word - are the schools back already! That time went fast.

I know fortune that six weeks flew. In theory they should have been back Thursday but 2 teacher training days delayed it until tomorrow. It's still August though

Good day here, weather perked up and I got 5 loads of washing dried and half of it away :D also got clothes down from loft to label for sale a week Saturday. I found some j0ules items which I may list in a faceb00k page I've joined which is solely that brand. No harm I guess - just need to read up t&c

Also pulled down a loo seat I said my folks could have. Will take it next week. More de cluttering. Also found some toys to sell too, plus I have two boxes already earmarked in garage. They quite easy to label too :p

Need to get back on diet and fitness when the smalls are back at school, eaten too much (again) today :o

Moved paypa1 money from small sale to savings. Checked new account to make sure my £2k was still there :o

Just waiting for smalls to finally go to sleep and then I'll start labelling.

  • Just sat in the garden with a cheeky :coffee: in the sunshine :D how lovely. Smalls back at school/nursery and I've been to Mr s for a tiny shop to take some food to an event today. Spent much less than would have buying anything there. Just packed up my cool bag and meeting my friend in about half an hour :T

As it was day after bank hols, some money movement today and some pending for tomorrow. Must dig out mortgage letter at I'm sure it said it would reduce straight away but not showing that way on my account.

Regular saver gone out so 22% of target saved and small amount of interest on another account means my second savings target is at 33% :T I'm very pleased. EF also at 42% so will hit half way when I get paid later in the month. Happy days.

Right must get on and get last bit of stuff together, including lots of water to take with me.
  • Great progress Purp. Have a relaxing day without the smalls.

Yesterday was lovely, fab day with a fab friend doing something I love doing and don't get to do very often. We made a pact to do it more :D (even annually would be a start!) no greater reason now than a stark reminder today that life really is too short. The lovely lady from work was taken far too young yesterday leaving behind a young family :( there is definitely one more shiny star in the sky tonight :A

Need to make sure life is for living as well as what ever else we are doing money wise. A balance.
  • Sending hugs.
