Well, you could send an email and a scanned image of the sick note, explaining your illness affects your speech and makes it difficult to understand. All they have to do is google it to find out you are telling the truth. If they insist on speaking to you, ask them to call you and don't be embarassed, Mellymoo. It is not your fault you cannot speak clearly and you would not have a sick note if your symptoms did not merit one. I would have thought the HSE would be a little more aware of health and safety issues than most employers, myself.

Good luck and leave the screen alone if it hurts your eyes.

Asked doc to put restricted duties when migraine allows no travel on it a d got an email asking me to call work.

He had some cat milk though (loves it) so at least he's rehydrated a bit.

Had a discussion about where she had been (playing with the foxes, chasing mice etc) and what she wanted for breakfast.

Did a double take at me when I asked him where he had been (I'm in he wrong place should be at home with the cat food waiting for his return)
