No def not over reacting Melly, from what you have said of them, it doesn't surprise me at all!

Even without the heat, you can't leave them for a couple of days, litter trays, food & water etc! Plus if they are that little, they won't have much reserves to tide them over either! I bet they wouldn't cope if they got left for a couple of days in the same conditions!

I read a post on Fb that a couple found a staffy locked in a car on tues, when it was 33 degrees outside, the window was wound down a bit, but the dog was panting heavily.

Worried for the dog, they stopped at the car, 45 mins later the owners come along strolling with fish n chips and they started screaming at the couple "what the f*** are youse doing..."

So they'd took a trip to Whitby for fish n chips, then left the dog in the car.......:mad::mad::mad:

    Words fail me!

I read advice on this - I think it was in the Daily Express. It said that if you come across a situation like this you should dial 999 and call the police as the dog is in danger of death. Let the couple ask the police what the f they are doing. If the dog is in immediate danger of death you can inform the police that you are going to break a window to get a dog out of a car. Well I don't know but many people would be prepared to do that.
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best

Yes, the comments on the post had a link to a local police page that had advice on what steps to take.

So someone, somewhere is a sausage short of a bbq?

Oooh! Goosegrass balls. No, really. You have to tease those out really gently. Think that might be your job from now on, Mellymoo.

Cooler here today. How are you doing, now? And any further info on those poor, little kittens? I hope the RSPCA do visit. Will you tell them about the kitten who kept falling out of the window? Some people just should not be allowed near animals, should they?
