It's normally not to bad and I can cope coffee

My OHs mobility is nil at the moment and that's not helping it's scared me to be honest.

I did have a lovely shiny chunky boy cuddle this morning which helped.

Let's hope Nurse Picklinggale is on to something with the head washing and the dandelions. It never ceases to amaze me just how incredibly smart and kind tiggers can be. Purring can be healing for humans, too, you know, especially if she'll let you rest your forehead against hers. Charlie and I do this after every brushing session. It makes me feel calm.

It's too sunny for loves apparently
Both of them have allowed small fuss but were more interested in sunbathing

I'm getting purrupd when I look out but unless they are peckish they are not coming in lol

Will try for pics again later currently in living room, black out curtains drawn, hair wet, and fan on.

Where is Stripey? The poor, little chap needs to know he can come in. Down, Princess Pickle!

Who knew where the cute little sweetie first showed up that she would turn out to be a territorial toerag smodlet.

He's been in, had some food, quick fuss and gone back out. He is entire and been his own boss for awhile so I think it's one part my two and him not needing the warmth.

He looks a thousand times better and is the gobbiest boy ever

Melly - have you ever read the Deric Longden books about his various cats?
They're lovely, starting with ' The cat who came in from the cold'.
Deric's 2nd wife was almost blind & when they took this white kitten in, he was sat on her chest & did a sort-of- double-take when he looked into her eyes, then placed his paws gently on her eyelids.

My ex-boss gave it to me when I lost my much-loved last-but-one cat & I laughed and cried all the way through the book.

I didn't know it existed Poll have ordered it now.

Madam Froo has only inappropriately piddled once today.

I stuck head out front door, clicked, told OH that they were clearly having fun elsewhere, went in using my new piddle towel mopped it up.
Came back out to find a very bossy pickles telling me about her day (it's been fun, she saw butterflies, she likes the sun but it's a bit hot now and her furs itchy can I brush her? And give a squish before she goes back out to make sure no other cats come near to HER house)

Got tons of fur off her, needed.to splash myself as I was covered.

How are you feeling now, Mellymoo?

Female tigs do tend to rule the roost, I think. The blokes may put up a token resistance at first, they may not but soon decide they cannot be bothered and just let the females get on with it... remind you of anyone you know, yet? OH says he finds the best thing to do is "just smile and nod"...

Stripey might be OK taking the line of least resistance for now but he may feel differently come autumn. Perhaps Pickle will be over her fluffy huff by then.
