Have to agree about the Deric Longden books, when I got to the bit about Ralph I nearly fell off my chair laughing
He is equally as funny about his mother, played so wonderfully by Thora Hird in Lost for Words

Aw Melly, hope the docs has a good outcome, you're definitely wise staying off computer for a while. As much as we love hearing about your furry family, your health must take precedence here.
