Deleted_User - you're not being a worrywart at all, it's hard not to when you get news about your health. It's a good thing that the doctors are doing tests though and making sure everything is covered so that they can treat you in the best way. :)

    2 UU tonight:

Avon planet spa African Shea butter & chocolate truffle body souffle 200ml- WNBA, ever and I had expected to love this. :( this smelled lovely to me when it was in the stash, but on my skin it just smelled sickenly sweet and not as nice as when it was in the pot. I ended up sick of the smell of it. But the worst thing was that it stained both my clothes and my skin, no matter how much or how little I used and how long I spent rubbing it in!! (So it took a while to use as I could only use the tiniest amount). It seemed to just sit there and then rub off on my clothes, it's ruined a few pair of socks. It also leaves a white chalky residue on your skin even after showering the next day, unless you use a body scrub, that's the only way I could completely get the residue off. The first time I thought I had something wrong with my feet until i worked out it was the body souffle :o it's also not moisturising enough and is pearlised so it leaves a kind of shimmer which I wasn't keen on. :-/

Montagne jeunesse Manuka honey peel off mask- WBA loved the smell of this and the scent and colour made it feel like I was actually putting runny honey on my face, no nasty chemical smell. Dried fairly well but not completely, although I was pushed for time before work and didn't leave it on as long as I could of. Will get this one again.

    3 more UU this morning:

Disney princess 90 handy wipes- WMBA these were useful to have around on work sleep ins for a variety of purposes however I wasn't keen on the scent and they were quite small in size, would have liked them to have been bigger. Replaced with some carex ones.

Avon naturals raspberry & hibiscus hair refresher spray 100ml- WBA HG love this stuff. Makes your hair smell like it's just been shampooed and it lasts for ages. Really like the scent although the cherry blossom one is also very nice (I have the cherry one on the go at home). This was my work sleep in one. Will replace either with the same (which I have stashed) or a dry shampoo from stash, not decided yet.

Garnier ultimate blends honey treasures body lotion 10ml sachet - WBA as full size when I need one, currently have too many body lotions. This was very nice, it's quite thick in consistency but it rubs in really easily and feels very moisturising. Also smells lovely.

VALM - you'll be Pirouetting Your Whistle forever by the sounds of it.

maddie - Yes Benefit do still do Dandelion, I wear it as a blush for work and I love it.

Yep, dolly84 it feels that way with this lacquer.

On the subject of Dandelion I brought mine out of my stash recently (what was I saving it for? - I don't have any similar colours to UU first!) and tried using it as an all over face colour as it is intended and it looked really fresh. Even MrM commented.

Had another UU/TA yesterday that I forgot to mention:

Avon Super Extend Liquid Eyeliner. WNBA. I liked this at first but it seemed to dry up fairly quickly. It got to the point where I could line one eye but then not the other as it had dried in the time it took me to line that one eye. Anyway the other day Emma left her Kat von D Tattoo Line in the bathroom. It seemed rude not to try it and it is AMAZING. I have a deluxe one in my stash which I'm definitely keeping for myself now.

Speaking of Emma's make up I swatched NARS Anna lipstick in Selfridges last weekend and though I think it's lovely I can't see myself spending £24. on it. So whilst watching You Tube again I came across a MAC lipstick called Mehr that looked similar. Emma owns Mehr and didn't like it so I have swapped a Bite Beauty lip crayon for it and am really pleased with it. So an IN but not bought.

Also, yesterday I got one of those free gift emails from L'Occitane and am hopeful that when I redeem it at weekend there will be a £10 off voucher inside to put towards my perfume.

Have a great day all. x

I know it sounds silly fussing about the shape of soaps, but I like things to fit neatly on my soap dish. I always pick out the soaps in store that have that standard soap size and shape, with the exception of karma which is a triangle shape :o

I get it! Why do soap bar manufacturers or soap dish manufacturers not consider this?!

Deleted_User: take care of yourself. x

Right, a UU: Tresemme Deep Cleansing Shampoo (500ml). WIBA? My hair's gone picky again. I don't think it's the shampoo, more the conditioner doesn't condition enough, but I could be wrong as this shampoo seems to clean a bit deeper than the last one I had. Hmm...

Hope you are all well. Running really late for work so see you soon. xxx

  • A UU: Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara in dark blonde - WBA, loved this, perfect colour for me and no clumps (clumpy brows . . . yuck). Most things are usually too dark or too warm against my mid blonde colouring but this matched the darker bits of my natural brows. Opened the L'oreal Brow Artiste Plumper which is rather too dark. Speaking of colouring:

I tried the all over the face thing when I was working through my Dandelion. Sadly it's not the thing for us pale girls - it kept shine away beautifully but I looked rather pink and flustered all day!

Still no reportable progress on 7 by Summer but I am plugging away at everything. Hit pan on one side of the blusher; the other half is still a big mountain.
