    An IN to record:-

Tarte Tartlette Matte eyeshadow palette 4/26. This arrived this morning and I had a practice session, then removed it and re-applied to go out this afternoon. I really love it and think that pretty much all my shimmer shadows/palettes will be re-homed as I just cannot wear them on my aged eyelids any more:(

After the discussion earlier regarding Dandelion I remembered that I had a sample pot of Lily Lolo Flawless Silk finishing powder and a nice pink mineral powder blush, the blush I find a bit messy to use when I am in a hurry, so I have mixed some together in an attempt to create a version of Dandelion, have not tried it properly yet as I ran out of time when going out today, fingers crossed it will be OK, it would be good to use them up and postpone having to buy a new Dandelion for a while:money:

78SH - I successfully use Revitalash and have just placed an order for a new one. As it is so expensive I always wait for a good offer on QVc in order to have the protection of their 30 day money back guarantee, I have has 60 day mbg on some orders, not sure if it applies to all though, as I have sensitive skin and sometimes can develop problems even after happily using a product for ages, especially in the eye area.

Not been posting much here but got some UUs at last.

Gum hairspray -HG for me and replenished

L'Occitane cherry blossom shower gel. Really liked the smell and did a good job but the price is a bit steep. Got it as a gift and don't think I would pay for it myself nowadays.

Molton Brown Min shower gel, again lovely smell, preferred it to L'O but wouldn't have it unless it was gifted again.

St Moritz self tan bottle -TA bottle was leaking and quite a job to clean up.

And that brings me to 199 items left in my stash. For five and a half years I've been on this challenge, sometimes on here, sometimes not. My goal had been to get under 200 items including make up and nail polish. That would be my graduation point. Something to be proud of and after using up over 1000 items I have much more space. I've changed they way in which I shop, hoard and use my items.

Unfortunately my mum passed away unexpectedly and very suddenly last month. There was only the two of us. I now have the sad and very difficult task of going though her possessions only to find my mum was a bigger toiletries hoarder than I ever was. Drawer upon drawer of unopened soaps, shower gels and creams. I plan to donate what I can to charities she supported, pass along some items to extended family members and to use up what I can. In some ways it feels like starting the challenge all over again.

    One little UU just now:

Lush go faster feet foot lotion sample- WBA as full size, really like this! I bet it's expensive but may get as s treat at some point. It smells lovely and lemony and fresh. Rubs in nicely and a little goes a long way, I couldve easily got more uses out of the little sample pot. I can see the big tub lasting a while :)

Very sorry to read about your mum fiasco :(

Eta I will have an in soon as I have won a big pot of lush Turkish delight shower smoothie from eBay, very excited as although it wasn't cheap, I reeeeally wanted it as I've heard the potted shower smoothie is much better than the roulade version.

Still no reportable progress on 7 by Summer but I am plugging away at everything. Hit pan on one side of the blusher; the other half is still a big mountain.

Well done on hitting pan though.

Thought I would update my 7 by Summer list as my Boing concealer only has a very small rim around the edges now.

    Benefit Boing - above

Benefit Lemon Aid - bigger section of pan showing but this will still last me ages - not sure I will even finish it by 20 June.

Laura Geller Bronze n Brighten - I am using this every day. A bit more pan is showing.

Smashbox lipgloss - have pulled Illume out and have popped ou tthe stopper to get it used up. It does feel gritty though so want to work on it quickly.

Sephora by OPI Dear Diary - have been using this as a base and it is getting harder to get a consistent amount of product on the brush. Think I will be tossing this at the end of April to replace it with another mini for this challenge. Repainted nails last night and am wearing OPI Cara Mia Crimson. An old favourite red.

I find I have to be careful with shimmery shadows too now. If I wear them above my crease they look very Barbara Cartland. Do you like the quality of the tarte shadows? The ones that Emma lent me are really lovely. Must admit that I still have a hankering for Tarte Exposed blush. Sadly QVC are only selling it in a set with another blush that I don't want. I think I'm also going to switch back to a Tarte foundation once this Rimmel one has been UU.

    Two birthday INs:

Nuxe Reve De Miel Lip Balm
    TBS Seaweed Day Cream

Had all the seasons in one day today - rain, wind, sun, hailstones, snow (!) and now back to sun.

Had a rubbish month - not really kept to using things up ... but not many INs, so not all bad.

    Happy birthday WeAreGhosts. x
