hello everyone!

had a bridal make up lesson at charlotte tilbury with my mum today. it was really good and i did learn something i didn't already know. they do seem a bit stuck in the 10 looks they have though and really don't like departing from them much! got INs of the brow pencil and a cream eyeshadow. my mum bought a hell of a lot more than me to redeem the rest of the booking fee but i just looked and thought for everything else that was used, i already have a dupe so I'm not buying more and i said you can spend the rest!

also the brow pencil was a replacement for something just UU and i also UU my benefit gimme brow and have another IN of the NYX version to try. genuinely, i think this is the first ever time I've had UU of make up and not had one in the stash already and had to go out and purchase a replacement! :T:j:beer: I'm hoping the NYX one will be good, i remember reading in the Sali Hughes book (which i do highly recommend!) that for brow gel or mascara to buy cheap and buy often as its a loosing battle keeping them gunk free. i was tempted by the new illamasqua ones but they are £18 and i remembered that and thought no way, i'll try the drugstore brands first and see what they can do as coloured gel really can't vary that much!

56) Lush blue skies and fluffy white clouds bubble bar WBA HG still probably my favourite lush scent.

57) Royal skin 24k snail hydrogel mask WNBA ever. One of the strangest sized masks I have used, I am not a fan of hydrogel masks even though they are supposed to be more effective. This was no exception. It was tiny apart from the nose bit that was far too long so every time you breathed in the mask would cover your nostrils, I cut them off with a pair of scissors.

GA a soap and glory mini set from the Chrismas before last containing 4 items, not a fan of soap and glory and this set smells like pine cleaning fluid think it is called sugar crush.

I forgot the beauty box I got. I have given away 2 products so the only ones to declare are;
A facial soap which will be used for something else
A facial mist
I have made my self a promise not to order any more beauty boxes as they always seem to disappoint with either the wrong colour items or things that I will not use. Spending the money on things I want would be a better way of doing it.

Nails this week were painted in Perfect Formula Greige which lasted an unbelievable 5 days:D, now they are LD Rosey Posey, topped with LD Surf.

I have some Real Techniques brushes and love them, I am annoyed with myself for wasting money on some Eco Tools ones recently, a travel set and the eye ones are OK but the blusher brush that I specifically wanted is far too soft and long in the bristles for my powder blush, would be fine for something like Benefit Dandelion (do they still do this?)but not for applying the blusher to specific areas of my face:(

Got in from a 12 hour shift this evening, so really fancied a nice soak in the bath. Thus I have 2 UU just now:

Royal jelly bath salts 130g- WBA nice scent, but were from a gift set so can't buy separately anyway.

TBS honeymania bubble bath melt 300ml- WBA on sale, but not at full price. I don't think 300ml is enough to justify the full price. It does smell absolutely divine though, I love this scent, and produces lovely bubbles.

Found something to scrape the moisturiser out of the tub to save my nails - a mini ice scraper we got with our freezer when we bought it! :rotfl:

Using up that particular moisturiser should be a doddle now

used up johnsons foaming facial wash as a bath wash. WNBA as had to re-purpose in desperation to get it finished.

I got a tester recently and to see if really works or if the superdrug bb cream was responsible for the good make up today, i have applied serum on half the face. well, at least i saved some money as one side looks as bad as the other.

S&G Orangeasm Green Mandarin and Bergamot Fragrance Mist 100ml - Bought for £1.75
S&G Smoothie Star Body Spray 100ml - Bought for 70p, normally £4.
S&G Orangeasm Body Spray 100ml - Bought for 70p
Boots Extracts Strawberry Body Scrub 400ml - Bought for £2, normally £6.50.
Boots Botanics Mediterranean Eden Pampering Treats (includes 250ml Smoothing Body Polish and 300ml Luxuriously Rich Body Butter) - Bought for £5 (just checked and only £2 reduction but still nice to treat myself)
Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in 020 Rio Rush - Bought for £2. It's normally £7.99 so I couldn't resist giving this a go.

I'm afraid I'm guilty of not being able to resist a few bargains. But I have to say I did manage to resist some temptation today - tried out a few scents in Primark but never bought any and usually I buy a lot of stuff just 'cause it's cheap (well I sprayed a tester on my hand and the staying power wasn't up to much). With the S&G stuff, I only ever buy it on clearance anyway. Oh and I avoided purchasing yet another cheap candle.

On my day off last Tuesday, I went to MrBs to see if I could find the fruitigo spray in my clearance section, alas, none
I did however manage to leave with:
Nivea creme care shower cream 250ml
S&G mini shower gel 50ml (i forget the name) reduced to £1 - i stopped myself with just one. Very handy for travels/ work away.

A wander round Superdrug resulted in a Pamolive chocolate shower butter 250ml.

Then a mooch in TBS to get my loyalty card sorted out (apparently my old one has stopped working for some reason), so after that was sorted into my bags fell 2x handcreams, wild argan oil and mango and a mini mango shower gel 60ml. 3 for 2 and also handy but completely unnecessary!
I still have to go back and see if i can get my birthday gift...

This is probably why i shouldn't have days off...

One UU to try to balance that little lot:
French Connection body butter 50ml WDNBA. This balled up no matter how little i used. Partly repurposed as a in shower mousturiser.
My Clinique chubby stick is a tiny nub now so will be finished in the next few days.

Nuxe serum - WNBA, i don't think this does much tbh!
Liz Earle IBST - WBA if in a set but in no hurry to pay full price. its lovely and all but it is just a nice step that i don't think adds much aside from being refreshing and smelling nice!
Organic Surge shower gel - WBA, smelt nice and had a nice foam.
Liz Earle cleanser - HG cleanser, still haven't found anything better.

I'm currently sat at home feeling very sorry for myself, I've managed to get tonsillitis and a cold at the same time quite how I've managed that i don't know. I'm just grateful the tonsillitis isn't so bad i can't eat as I've had it like that before and it was horrific.

i was looking into private labeling in make up to avoid these ranges. as they are very common amongst bloggers.

i found a really insightful youtube video from the chemists who create them. i am becoming more savvy.

used up concealer max factor- wnba as did not conceal. this was the use up pan for months. i layered it on as a foundation over the super drug bb.
