Gemzie: The stuff I saw in Boots was 2+ weeks ago, so may still be there, may be gone. It was on clearance, but it's anyone's guess as to which branch has what stock. Found some elsewhere though.Elizabeth

I have hit the pan on the highlighter of the sleek palette. There is not an indent at all on the bronzer or the blush. I have a mac highlighter to use up so I can’t do any other till what is there is something finished.
Recent in were the real techniques brushes- lovely well balanced and really useful sizes. They are great for the skin care. They seem to have put a lot of thought into the sizes you need to contour or blend. Lottie brushes are divine and are amazing. I really like their powder and blusher brushes. I have the sleek brushes from before and they are stunning but only for eyes. A great basic kit or throwing into the bag for a weekend away. I got some Lancôme a while back and they are just adorable. Really nice texture. The Superdrug own brand were terrible and I would avoid like the plague. I seem to have shifted from make-up to brushes to better apply what I have.
I found this by accident; I used a darker foundation it was too yellow toned. I brought the wrong foundation with me. I used a max factor cc chubby pencil that is used to conceal under the eyes. It is much brighter than the foundation. I used it in areas that needed to be lighter. It literally saved me from having to remove all the slap. Also the under eye concealer is not being used and lingering in the stash.
The six by summer is 2 used up and progress made in 2. Still have no idea how to use or re-purpose the berts bees. It was free so no big issue but still want to use everything.0 -
1 UU today:
Johnsons no more tangles conditioning spray - WBA pleasant smell and does the job fine made it much easier to brush my hair on a morning. Lasted me quite a while. Replaced with Avon naturals apple & oat protein conditioning spray from stash that will do the job for now as it isn't getting enough use. Then I'll buy another when that's gone.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2015/2016/2017/2018

Had 4 UU after tonight's shower:
Daily Defense Macademia Oil Deep Conditioner 147ml - WNBA - Although there was nothing bad about this, it's not nearly as good as others I have used such as Aussie and an Argan Oil one. I can't complain for something that only cost £1 and I'm glad I gave it a go.
Montagne Jeunesse Dead Sea Mud Pac 20g - WNBA - I managed to make this last 5 uses so it was certainly good value for money. It's not the best I've used so I don't think I'd buy it again. I also wasn't keen on the smell as it's very masculine and smells a bit like bathroom cleaner.
Samaritan Olive Oil 185ml - I use any generic olive oil for rubbing into my scalp and as a shaving oil. This bottle lasted me over 6 months so it's great value for money. I'll replace it with another bottle. I've saved packaging from another UU which I can use so it doesn't look too food-y.
Baylis & Harding Tropics Passion Fruit and Papaya Body Butter 200ml - This was okay and did the job though it wasn't the best I've used. The consistency was more like a lotion than a butter. I got this free from a friend who was chucking stuff out and gladly used it although I wouldn't purchase it myself. Despite its label, the scent is more floral than fruity.
My updated PP list (minus what I've used and with latest UU crossed off)
ARU Borage Cream 30ml
Baylis & Harding Sweet Mandarin and Grapefruit Bath Soak Salts 250g
Beyonc! Heat Rush Body Lotion 75ml

I've recently bought the Real Techniques eye brush set and face brushes set - both are great. They replaced a collection of sundry freebies and a set bought many years ago from Claire's. I just need to accept that I have enough now and not buy any more
A UU: L'occitane Shea Butter hand cream, 30ml; this is the second UU from the 11 tubes of handcream I received as Christmas presents! Expensive, but I have lots of hobbies which are hard on the hands and I find this soothes and heals nicely.0 -

I love it though when I receive hand cream because of the money it saves me not having to replace them myself,
The only Real Techniques product I own is the sponge which is similar to the Beauty Blender. Have 2 of these and will repurchase when I need to.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Unfortunately also had to TA the beauty parlour lip balms because I just could not for the life of me get them openI have had them as long as I can remember though so they might have gone off inside anyway...
So my list now stands as it is above (I should probably add that some of my things are already half/nearly completely used so I haven't just used a whole body spray in a week)

Saving for tomorrow - I totally agree. I hate that kind of sales approach so much. That's when I go into shut down mode and just ignore them (which then makes the experience really awkward). This is why I personally hate shopping for cosmetics. I always do my research and go in with the idea of buying that item instead of just looking around.
So, I am on the naughty step. Bought more perfume. My addiction for it has really taken over my addiction to nail polish it seems. Sigh.
At least I'm using up my bath stash and can now have it all in one place instead of scattered in different storage units all over.
UU:
Lush - santa's belly - not a fan of jellies so I need to stop buying them
smells lovely though
Lush - twilight bath bomb - wba
Lush - dirty perfume - my OH is not a fan so we used it as air freshener. Really nice scent and minty
LUsh - cupcake face mask - wba
Innisfree - tea tree serum - was a gift and used up fast as a body moisturiser as I didn't like the tacky feeling it left on my face wnba

I have a uu
Philosophy Amazing Grace EDT 60ml - WBA and already have more in the stash - I really love the scent, it is very different.
My cuticles are in a bit of a state so I am going to do a manicure tonight after soaking them and apply some Liz Earle Superbalm for the next couple of weeks. I will also repaint them with Ciate Shooting Stars as it is a very forgiving nude.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler
