Applemuncher hopefully your dd is not too sore.
Mistara hope you manage to get your tummy sorted out.
Had a lovely day off, except for cleaning household to bottom and washing everything in site, done nothing. Lay on sunlounger and nibbled rich tea biscuits rest day. Not sure new any weight loss this week. Feel so much better for a lazy day.
Walked my friends dog but it was struggling in heat so walk got cut short.
Now try and find something healthier than I have ate today for tea.
Grateful for

Lots of food made. Roast butternut squash (some went into a curry, some didn't make it that far), 5 portions of chilli, 2 mini cottage pies with sweet potato mash on top, 4 additional portions of sweet potato mash, rice salad, veg curry, potatoes from before Christmas are being turned into mash to top two fish pies, roasted sweet potatoes to go in the 3 types of ginger cake.
Also planning butter bean casserole, leek and butter beans with savoury crumble topping and lots of baking. Bins emptied and started re-filling (I had stuff waiting)
Trying to cut back on internet use as feel this is contributing to tiredness.
Things to be grateful for/ making me happy
lovely weather sunny but not oppressive
washing drying superfast outside
roasted butternut squash - yum yum
planted out some onions
lots of carrot sticks and raw broccoli with yoghurt dip
washing up tackled - will have to start again and get things into the freezer as running out of worktop space
reading a good book

Thank you for the well wishes for dd. She stayed at home with daddy today and is much better for that.
I managed a full but uneventful day at work - which was most welcome as the last 2 days have been extremely wearing. I had to do a shop on the way home, as dh had not been able to get out with dd, and availed myself of the opportunity to buy 2 pillowcases - for the princely sum of 75p - to make bunting from. I'm planning to make bunting for dd's friends' birthdays, with their name on it.
Today I am grateful for caring colleagues looking after me after Monday's shenanigans, for the sunshine and warmth, for dd being so much improved, for dh doing dinner, for my pillowcase haul and potential presents made for pennies.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Hi everyone
Checking in with another nsd. But be warned I'm in a funny old mood. Not funny ha-ha but funny weird. Crying at anything and everything but not feeling down. It's bizarre because I don't even feel that tired, which is normally what sets me off. There have been a couple of sad things today which have put me in a bit of a reflective mood so maybe that's it.
Applemuncher - hope that your dd is on the up.
GSR - hope the work stuff sorts itself out soon.
I've been a busy bunny today - I'm drowning under my exam marking (school assessment week) and I'm non stop but getting absolutely nowhere with anything. Plus with dh being down again I have all of the house stuff to do when I get in. Maybe I am tired - and I need to get on with doing the stuff I enjoy as per this week's challenge. Spending time with family, a bit of crochet and a good night's sleep would really help I think.
That sounds like a plan - I'm off to bed to watch Masterchef and do some crochet.

Evening all. Loving the sound of rich tea biscuits on sun loungers and portions of butternut squash etc. Am on a calm stretch of the month, just working and sorting kids. Daughter has her D of E expedition this weekend, so digging out rucksack and sleeping bags, tin mugs and torches. What lovely weather today. Forecast not so great for the weekend though. I spent nothing yesterday. Think that's 7 days now. That big old shop I did last Friday...hmmm, well those teens have scoffed their way through much of it. I will have a workday and a half to fit in tomorrow as it's my last day for a while, got some leave from the main job to do a weeks training for the new part time one. Should be interesting. Huge moon tonight. Sleep needed. Take care all.Total debt at 18.9.17 £1950

Morning turtles, meant to post last night but fell asleep on the sofa at a ridiculously early time so most of the stuff I had planned to get done didn't happen. I still need to pack for going away later today, I finish work at lunchtime and then leave mid afternoon so will have a bit of time when I get home.
Yesterday was a spend day - had to pick up my bridesmaids dress from the tailor (needed taking up a few inches) and also did a wee shop to keep OH going while I'm away.
Still don't feel up for going to the gym but did some kettlebells in the flat so feel better for thatMortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Week 4 challenge -Being Frugal - preaching to the converted here.:)
Living a frugal life calls for a lifestyle change and a conscious awareness of how you're spending and saving.
This weeks challenge
Do at least 3 frugal things a day - feel free to share any ideas eg free days out, drying washing outside, anything extreme to make us laugh.
Aim to devour 3 frogs this week- things you have put off doing for ages.
Well done, keep up you may not make the total SFD's, or all the targets set out but give it one last push. :j

Last night was rather productive again. DH went out and started painting the shed while I got the upstairs hoovered. Must be the longer sunny nights that get us going. No SFD today as I got the hairdressers at lunch. Not sure what's for dinner yet.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250
