No unbudgeted spends yesterday but only one dog walk due to the weather and my bad mood. Still eating sugary stuff as there's loads in the house and I don't want to throw it away. Will not buy anymore though.Spend less now, work less later.0

Yesterday's 'results' from me: spent on food at A1di and Tesc0 (sig updated) - could've lasted until tomorrow except for running out of DS3's favourite food, and as he's been poorly for most of the week and not eating properly I wanted to get it in, so thought I'd do the rest of the shopping at the same time. I will need milk later in the week, as I just can't fit enough milk in the fridge for a whole week in the hols!:D I scored some bargain YS Gu puddings reduced from £3 to 51p (no way I'd pay even half price for them!) so that's pudding tonight sorted. Dinner will be lamb - which I didn't cook last Sunday as OH sulked and went to bed for 8 hours in the day.
Other spends were £2.50 on flowers in A1di and £66 for the deposit for our guinea pig boarding when we're on holiday.
I didn't achieve 10K steps yesterday (8.5k), nor exercise (nil) - I could've gone out for a walk but my one hip was so sore all day, along with the ball of the same foot that I didn't want too, nor did I want to go on the crosstrainer. Also ate a load of sugary stuff at one point to try and give me a boost as I was flagging after only 5 hours sleep (not my fault) - daft of me, really
Today is a new day!Happy Sunday to everyone

Morning all
Yesterday was a spend day, bought food for yesterday and today and a swimming certificate for DS(5)who achieved 5M on his front.:T
Busy day yesterday as our buyer came round to measure up, did most of the tidying up and cleaning and cancelled our summer holiday finally.
Food wise I managed 3 meals at the proper times and a mid afternoon snack, only 3 F&V though. Almost hit 20,000 steps including a 21 minute run. Went running with DH who is not as fit as me which kept me at a slower pace as run felt good and could have gone faster and longer.
Defuzzed and tidied my eyebrows yesterday and have been applying moisturiser to feet and legs. Will paint toes today and do a mini manicure as my nails have got very long and will no doubt start to snap off. Finger nails not toe nails!!
Last night I sat and watched a film with DH and consciously did not multi task by using the laptop or reading my book at the same time.
DS has been at DMIL overnight and is there today so DH and I are going for a run first thing, followed by a swim at the gym and will make an attempt at sorting the garage out today ready to move. This will probably involve a few runs to the tip as there is probably still stuff in there from when we moved in 10 years ago  There is not much in the loft so I would like to move what we can into the garage and then that is ready for the move and also tidy the airing cupboard.
List for today:
Run 30 min
Swim 30 min
Enter food into MFP
Clear garage
Clear loft
Tidy/sort airing cupboard
Meal plan for the week
Defrost meat for dinner
Buy dog food and small shop for next week
Finish updating YNAB and confirm budget
Hoover and dust throughout
Fish out marriage certificate for solicitor
Get ready for work as back tomorrow after a week offSave £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -

Got my experian credit report in the post today. Quite disappointed with the lack of info and detail in it. Nothing worrying in it. Nothing interesting either. Lesson learned. Won't be doing that again. £2 wasted.
Erin. I will get my soap box out on this one for a moment. It is far better to have a boring credit report that you know the contents of than having a horrible shock at a bad time when you need spotless credit.
In my case (and Turtles who were participating the month I ran this challenge and included doing a credit check for all, will know) my husband who has spotless credit almost stopped us moving into a house because a CCJ had been lodged against him by Next without our knowledge.
Turns out someone had taken out a Next account at an address we had not lived at for something like 9 years at that point. They hadn't even spelled his name right on the account! It wasn't an earth shattering amount, less than £500 but it almost caused us to lose out on our current home because of the adverse credit. We had a 24 hour period to call the courts explain the situation and they got on to Next who issued a retraction. Scary stuff.
I think it's almost worse for people who do have good records as they don't think they have anything to fear so they don't check them.
I'd strongly recommend using Clear Score on a moment basis. It's free and you can check your report at any time. End of lecture:rotfl:
Welshkitty Good luck with the coming week. These long school holidays are difficult aren't they. My in laws were just saying they are sure children get even more time off now than when theirs were young. I'm not sure. My son has so far had a week in Feb, now this holiday, and another week in May!
Hope the Sun holiday is fun by the way. I've never done one but wondered about them.
Mothernerd Wow I can't believe how brave you are to tackle that situation. It does sound very dubious indeed as to whether it was their bag..." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Just a check in from yesterday as I was so busy I didn't get round to it and I moved a pile of stuff off the worktop, including my iPad and I didn't realise! Excuses, excuses I know but was kind of nice to have a bit of no device time.
Yesterday was a spend day, yarn for my on going project and some top up bits from Morrisons. Made pizza for tea, took the kids to the local park and a once a month family group we attend.
Today's plan is church, home for lunch then maybe a bit of baking and vacuuming which really needs doing then take the kids to the park again[STRIKE]497.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 286.34[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]182.00[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]180.00[/STRIKE][STRIKE] 130.00[/STRIKE] CC1 Paid!!:j

Hi everyone!
Checking in early to declare today as SFD 3. DS's rugby match done this morning (they won!) and we are back home & not going out again today. Lunch will be chicken dinner, using up lots of left-overs from the freezer and including lots of veggies.
Have sold an old tv-box-thing on eBay for £26. Need to arrange postage, but not counting the spend as the buyer has covered the cost.
Bob yes I'm struggling with ideas for the holidays as my old job gave me a pass to get into local attractions for free. I'm missing not having it and struggling for free/cheap things to do. We are thinking of getting a cadw (Welsh heritage) pass for the year, but can't afford it this month. Maybe in time for the next holidays.
We're going to minehead with the sun tokens. Been to the same park before and we love it as we don't have to spend on anything once we are there (although we usually do have a few treats) and there so much to do on the resort.0 -

Thanks for this - I hadn't seen the advert recently and couldn't remember who it was who was doing freebie credit checks - have signed up - no nasty surprises and nothing negative, with an (apparently) higher than avg cs for my area. Looking forward to checking it every so often and seeing if it changes at all
Spent some money today by tagging along to B&Q with someone - but as the purchase was not for me and I've already received the money back I am counting it as a SFD, as nothing else was purchased. OH wanted to buy a Sunday paper but I persuaded him not to as we have a busy day so would be unlikely to be read
No exercise taken yet, and only at just under 6k steps. Busy prepping/ cooking dinner now for a while but will aim to improve on this!

How funny after Xspender has just been to the same place. We used to holiday in Minehead as children, Butlins before it was fancywe stayed in chalets and caravans there. I'm showing my age now (37) but my parents used to leave us in the chalets at night to go to the entertainment and someone on a bike would cycle round shining a torch into the chalets to make sure no kids were up! How utterly frowned upon would that be today. And rightly so. Like leaving kids outside the pub with crisps and a lemonade which we also did sometimes. :rotfl:
