Not quite NSD today. 0.99 in Mr T, on a pot of Oat so Simple:eek:

I was cold and going into a 90min meeting. It was that or Chocolate. At least this was healthier. But it horrified me to pay that sort of money. Also, even though it was 'Original' there was a huge amount of sugar in it. Tomorrow I'm putting a snack bag of oats in my handbag:D

I went to get milk out of our second refrigerator and there was none. Helpfully, to my budget in this challenge, milk was half price so $5.91.

I may just slide in under my budget. I have been using up lots of stored items.
I found a 2013 pork butt in the freezer  with no signs of freezer burn . OH grilled it outside and we used half tonight for pulled pork. It was delish! I never would have believed it but truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.:D
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

    NSD today :)

Used LO roast pork to make a pork ramen soupy style thing for tonight's dinner and a creamy rice pud as I had loads of milk to use up.

The rice pudding is for general tummy filling for DH, DS and DD.
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I have just been to get some YS bargains and got lentils, celery, sardines x2, bread, kiwi fruit, pitta bread and yoghurt for just over a fiver. That's me done for the month (I hope!) but I am about £60 over budget.
must say NO to impulse buys!
