I have just done my last big shop of the month, I may pop to Lidl on Saturday but that is usually only a few £. Total for April to date £217.16/250, I think hubby will probably have a couple of lunch receipts tucked away but he goes to Lidl and buys soup and bread so unlikely to make us go over the budget
It should bring us under budget for year to date too :j

    Previous months J 200/200, F 199.55/200, M 255.71/250
    Total 655.26/650

I don't think I will be spending any more money this month so my final total is £89.65 I've done very good this month with YS items and took advantage of offers and used items out of the freezer. I don't have a monthly budget more an annual budget which allows me to stock buy items when on offer.
Why pay full price when you may get it YS ;)

Final total this month £415, terribly over budget but for 5 weeks for 5 people, not horrendous.

Went to Tesco got 40 chicken thighs, £1-49 for 5, good price, for the dog, 3 coffee and a huge comfort, store cupboard, dairy produce, came to £40-51 - £6 off, £34-51, and another £6 off £40 spend, might go back and do a similar shop by 8th May expiry date.
Do I need it or just want it.

Two NSD in a row. I might just make it to my goal after all!
Overprepare, then go with the flow.

My final few spends of April. Signature updated.
    sainsbobs £1.88
    wilks £3.95
    Came in under budget

Going to live out of the freezer for first week of May as I have a lot of stuff in there I bought to eat in April which did not get used. Will just need to buy fresh fruit & veg and dairy. So I've taken advantage of a voucher from tossco for £6 off a £40 shop. I am stocking up on dried beans, lentils, seeds and the likes which will actually last me quite a few months.
See you all in May's GC

£199.70 this month so 30p under budget. Not bad considering I had flu and ended up buying extra fruit juice and some M&S ready meals as didn't feel like cooking.

Ran out of my DS milk so had to buy that, went to sainsb as it is on offer and picked up that and the kids favourite BBQ beef hula hoops as they were also on offer, another £11 spent so £228.16/250 will give Lidl a miss tomorrow I think as we don't need anything really.

Well last spend of the month with £54.04 at Aldo - the food will last into May, so not too worried about a bit of an overspend.

Off you update siggy- see you all in May GC :)
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

    £300/£130
