Declaring £70.62 for April - am really surprised to come in under budget. I ended up having 4 NSD's, unintentionally, so that helped. I have run out of milk and very short on coffee and toilet rolls, but will not be getting that until 2moz. See you over at Mays challenge0

Declaring at £322.79. Still slightly more than ideal, but WAY better than the last few months - 33% budget against, 26% of the time.
Hopefully May will be quite good, we are both away for a bit of it, and the freezer is absolutely heaving. There are however some storecupboard items that we need, but I will try and put that off for as long as possible. I'm sure I can be creative!
See you on May's thread.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -

Not bad as £9 was stockpiling tins of chickpeas & chopped tomatoes as they were on offer, and I stopped being so conscious of food costs mid way through the money as stress set in, but I'll try to keep it under next month.

Another restaurant meal at $38
Sweet daughter wanted chicken enchiladas from her favorite Mexican restaurant.
Daddy just couldn't say no.:D She left to go back home, so we are back to money saving ways. :A
Just realized I posted this in April's thread. Oh well...:oOverprepare, then go with the flow.

Well my total for the month was £365.05. Although more than £200 of that was on eating out as I had a ridiculously busy month. I was pleased with my supermarket spends of just over £160.
So although seriously over budget again, I feel like I'm making progress. Hopefully next month will be better! See you next month.Mortgage and debt free0 -
Really lost the plot this month-well, April.
Started well ,was keeping track then stuff happened and it all changed.
Still making all from scratch and using it all up.
Went on holiday with DS and his lovely family,I had puncture on the way -cost me £350 as I had to have new wheel as well as a new tyre. And I forgot my credit card number so it maxed my current account(new card, never had one before but had a few home improvements done earlier this year so it helped the budgeting)
Relieved to get home in one piece and had plenty of money left as one pension had a rise!!!
Will do better now in May

Ridiculously close to the wire this month at £235.95/£240.00 for April. Also my meals out/takeaway budget line exploded due to my birthday and DD coming home for a few days. (Hangs head in shame at spending.) May will have to be super frugal! Loads in the freezer though, so I think I'll be fine, mostly topping up.3-6 month EF Challenge Member #19: £3590/£6000.[/B] Craft destash from 22.5.22: 46/200.
