Evening all


Thanks for all the gws vibes. I cracked my rib slipping on some wet tiles, grabbing a railing and kind of wrapping myself around it


We went to Nerja and Granada and were lucky to see lots of the parades for the Semana Santa. The weather wasn't brilliant and we had to buy a brolly in Granada, but it was lovely to be away together for a couple of weeks. My son visited for five days whilst we were in Nerja so that was a bonus. DH was back at work today as it's not a big holiday up here.

Managed to empty the cases and sort out all the washing. Two lots washed and dried and two to go. Everything put away and DH lifted the cases into the cupboard for me.


Sorted post and there's one to deal with the morrow once the holiday is over. Went through all outstanding emails and dealt appropriately. Bank accounts checked and cc paid.


Tuesday - kitchen and dining room
Level one
Clear and wipe work surfaces, only put back what belongs here
Level Two
Sweep and mop floors, Use a cloth to get right into the corners and do any skirtings too
Clean the drawer and filter in the WM
Wipe table and chairs
Level three
Sort out the your most cluttered drawer do you need all that stuff?
HHTidying up and finding homes for homeless things which make flying tricky
Clean a window to let the sunshine in

Extras
Sort through a handbag
Sort through a cupboard or drawer of junk
29 fling boogie...

I am pleased to report that I have cleaned the kitchen and DD has remarked on how clean it now is !
Done all the ironing and stripped my be.
Leftover turkey has been soured and slurped but there is more
My bed stripped and remade

I have yet to find my tidied away HRT tablets..

Morning all. You were all so busy yesterday.

So far today, I've sorted out the washing that was drying on the airers from yesterday, done dailies, cleared the fireplace ready for gas servicing today, cleaned up after OldDog and just had my first cuppa.

AA have just arrived as some scum have put a nail in DHs tyre. The ones that cost over £500 to replace last week. The day can only get better.

My list:
Feed us and the dogs
Make a bolognaise for the slow cooker for tonight
Walk dogs
Maybe gardening/take inspiration from this thread/go out somewhere for some fresh air

Ouch. What gets into people? Why would you do this?

Paid stuff this morning then working from home on job no. 2. Have just put a load of washing in, will leave a note asking DS2 to put dishwasher on - there are probably loads of pots in his bedroom.

Dog to walk and kitchen floor to wash later. Have a good Tuesday everyone!

JJ have you tried barkeepers friend to clean the stain, that's good on most things.
Weather looking quite bright and settled today.

I'm having the morning off to go look at wedding dresses with the DDs x3 so really looking forward to that. Be great to spend some time with my girls all together.. Promise I'll catch up later.

YSL - that's not the only damage. Happened in a car park yesterday, also damage to wing mirrors, rear window and bumper, but tyre now sorted first so we can still get around.

Bolognaise now in slow cooker and I'm just having some toast. Dogs are fed too.

Sorry jazee meant to say sorry about the damage to your car. Will anything be done to catch the culprit? Some people are just scummy.
We've got another year befo dd needs h dress but cos we can all get together today she wanted us all to come. Both other DDs are planning to try on if they get the chance. I may gain three sons inlaw if they all drag their fellas up the alsie.

Mrs MP, its been reported to the police in case there's any kind of pattern and in case it happens again. Our plan is for me to drive DH to and from work from now on so the car doesn't have to sit in the car park all day.

Time to get off my backside and wash the dishes.

Morning all.

Think I've caught the bug that's going around. I have a cotton wool head and already finding it hard to focus so today should prove interesting! I've read the thread but nothing has stuck so

hugs, sticks, spoons, vibes, get well soon and enjoy vibes all round!

I have work today and I'm trying to get used to wearing my new glasses, but they are just not sitting right on my nose so I have to keep adjusting them. On the plus side, since they're only half rim I don't have to keep tilting my head down to see what I'm typing as there's no frame to get in the way

Bank Holiday Monday(Feel free to have the day off) – Choose a room which never gets much attention

Wipe all dusty areas with a damp cloth

• Wipe over all the paintwork

It's snowing heavily here which is just downright ridiculous.

jazee that's awful about the car, I'm at a loss as to why anyone would do that.
