Washing up done, but left to drain. Bathroom bin emptied. First of three washloads in the machine. About a third of the gloss painting done, so only around another four hours to go then!
Just stopped for a cuppa and fudge. Catch you all later.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Morning all
Didn't sleep properly last night, was up about 6.30 so I could be ready for work and all that I plan to do today regarding that is now done. I've set up camp in DD's bedroom where my donate/sell pile is taking over and I'm going to work my way through that. Ex hasn't long text to say that he'll have DD home around midday, but first he'll need to get her up!
Right, dailies on the computer are done, time to start sorting.....:wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

Hiya everyone - I'm back off my holibobs with a chest infection and a cracked rib, but had a lovely time and saw loads of interesting things.
Goodness, that must have been some lively holiday, where did you go? I hope you feel better soon.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Very wild here, woke to find our bird table scattered all over the patio, several feeders broken and a lot of very confused birds hopping around.
For those liking flowers, here are my Easter church arrangements. I can already see what I should have done better, but hey ho. And I dedicate them not only to the congregation who contributed in memory of loved ones, but for those women and children brutally murdered for their faith yesterday.
Mr N is hoovering. I'm meant to be writing a report but I'm posting photos, oops.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Narco, what a lovely post and the flowers are lovely. Hope you get the patio tidied soon.
So, drum roll please, after 4 days I have finished painting our bedroom. The last bit didn't take as long as I thought it would. I'm hoping another coat is not needed tomorrow.
I have had a very quick hoover through (no mopping, in this weather, no point) and am having a bit of lunch.
Then if the sun keeps shining, I will take the dogs out, and hope not to get caught in a hail storm as happened yesterday.
And I am an awful mother as I told DD not to come round today as I just want to chill out after all the decorating.Spend less now, work less later.0 -

I use blitz that mould from lakel@nd which is effective but might need more than one application
Have you tried cream cleaner such as cif?
Pots washed and dried and put away. Impressive booze stash identified! Extra recycling bag located and half filled with bottles, all of which have Ben rinsed:A
Half of Dr vacuumed, tablecloth changed, window cleaned of sticky finger marks where DGN (darling great nephew) went bunny spotting

Have lost all motivation to do anything, but at the same time feel restless and fidgety. Going to make a start on DHs month end paperwork, in proper flylady fashion I will make myself do an hour then stop and see how I feel.
Flowers are beautiful Narco, as is that stained glass window! Well done on getting the decorating finished Jazee.0 -
Back from dog walk which included a quick catch up with a couple of the villagers, very nice.
Time to make myself look human in time for DH arriving home.
I'll 'see' you all tomorrow.Spend less now, work less later.0
